internet killed 12yo
nice logic
2022-08-06 20:58
his fault tbh, if you are still that dumb at 12 years old to do a dangerous "trend/challenge" like that. You only have yourself to blame
2022-08-06 20:59
sad to see, looks like these trends got out of hand after that mannequin challenge
2022-08-06 21:00
lol now he's doing the struggle to live challenge
2022-08-06 21:00
This could be called natural selection to a certain degree. But yes. TikTok and all the other social media are total garbage.
2022-08-06 21:01
How is that TikTok’s fault? These morons are at fault for even trying something this stupid
2022-08-06 21:01
that was trend in my school couple of years ago
one guy did something like that and end up in a hospital
feel bad for girl tho :(
2022-08-06 21:01
Fucking stupid, I hate Gen Z
2022-08-06 21:02
bad parenting killed 12 yo i'd say.
2022-08-06 21:06
His parents should be sterilized
2022-08-06 21:10
What if I told you that young people have always acted stupid to impress other young stupid people around them.
2022-08-06 21:14
Zoomers nowadays
When i was 12 i was eating bugs xd
2022-08-06 21:15
i might sound hella unempathic but these internet trends are just weeding out the stupid people... i mean who actually tries to attempt these sort of things if they have any sort of critical thinking?
like the tide pod challenge, the coronavirus challenge 2 years ago where you licked toilet seats etc, this blackout challenge, people have also poured alcohol onto themselves and light it on fire.
like i said earlier, if you have any sort of critical thinking you should know, even at 12 years old that these are all dangerous and can cause very serious consequences
2022-08-06 21:16
Dude literally tiktok is the worst... ask dn he knows it better... it did him dirty
2022-08-06 21:19
Instead of blaming the internet, blame the parents.
2022-08-06 21:25
Back in my day...this blackout challenge was called HANGING YOURSELF.
What's next?
Shoot yourself in the face? GUNSHOT CHALLENGE
Suffocate in garage? EXHAUST CHALLENGE
Jump off a building? SUPERMAN CHALLENGE
Parents need to stop blaming their children being suicidal on internet trends. You cannot hold your breath until you end up in a coma or on life support without using external support or an object. You cannot strangle yourself with your hands. Your body will not let you cease breathing by holding your breath until you die. You will pass out or become delirious long before this happens and you will start to breathe. Our bodies are idiot proofed in this way.
This kid tried to kill himself using a rope, belt, or object that continued to stop his breathing long after he lost consciousness. This is called suicide.
Tik tok is trash, but ignoring your suicidal 12 year old and blaming fucking app is even more trash.
2022-08-06 21:33
A fraction of this new generation is really dumb
2022-08-06 21:33
do you reckon someones been put in ICU due to hltv of some sort
2022-08-06 21:34
So glad that I stopped watch TikTok. Such a mess. Poor kid.
2022-08-06 21:34
TikTok has minimum age at 13 yo, so he should never be there at the first place
2022-08-06 21:42
Poor kid and poor parents :(
I’m doing everything not to let my kids Watch TikTok.
2022-08-06 21:43
His own fault and his parent's fault. Parents must be blamed for negligence.
2022-08-06 21:45
This choking thing existed way before tiktok
2022-08-06 21:46
This is just sad. This is why you moderate your children's internet usage
2022-08-06 21:58
You can get huge orgasms if you do the challenge right.
2022-08-06 22:00
Fucking TikTok oh my fucking god. This app really tilts me and wakes up my triggers. Im really sorry for the innocent kid. Since I deleted instagram i feel like a newborn and im the happiest dude on earth bcs i never installed this shitty app.
2022-08-06 22:07
>tries to commit suicide
>attaches a note
and this is considered tiktok killing someone? Media using buzzwords to make their stories get more clicks. Sad story but once again facts and stories don't align.
2022-08-06 22:14
TikTok should be banned all around the world for me, unfortunately it won't happen, because otherwise everybody would be a little smarter and that's not good for many.
2022-08-06 22:15
kid is fucking retarded, when i was 12 years old i was playing with cars and getting rejected by girls, and these guys are trying to kill themselfs xD
2022-08-06 22:17
I am glad that TikTok is banned in India
2022-08-06 22:19
Imagine doing trash challenges lol
2022-08-06 22:32
Dumbass, sad the family had to go through this tho
2022-08-06 22:39
how can i change my name on hltv
2022-08-06 23:57
Wtf lol is this an actual "challenge" in tiktok? If yes then whoever that made this as a challenge in the first olace should be arrested ngl
2022-08-06 23:58
Titel should be changed..
"12 year old dies after attempting dumb tik tok challange"
2022-08-07 00:00
bruh making tiktoks ate age 12............ idiot parents
2022-08-07 00:15
Not social medias fault it’s his, yes it sucks and that he’s 12 makes it worse but this was down to him knowing surrounding.
It’s kinda natural selection honestly.
2022-08-07 00:28
pretty sure he did it to himself
2022-08-07 00:34
This is not a new thing. it used to be a secret "challenge" among summer camp teens like two decades ago, who knows when this became a game, but someone would do a "softish" rear naked choke until you confirmed or nodded you couldnt breathe until you passed out and went limp, usually waking up after a few seconds after collapsing. holy shit what were we thinking. young teensreally do need supervision , they do the dumbest shit holy fuck
2022-08-07 00:43
nowadays when im outside i see 80% of people with their fucking disgusting posture 45 degrees forward like giraffe watching tiktok 24/7. mby people should keep dying so motherfuckers learn to not be like that
2022-08-07 00:43
natural selection + parents' fault for not monitoring and teaching their kids properly
2022-08-07 00:44
he could just not do it...
2022-08-07 00:51
While I do agree that TikTok is horrible, this is mostly fault of the parents. This whole video is equivalent to those schizos who blame videogames for real life violence.
2022-08-07 00:57
further proof that TikTok is Filth that should be banned immediately
2022-08-07 01:22
My friends cousin did this. Was only about 13. Really fucking sad. Kid didn't mean to kill himself but these trends are so stupid and widespread, people don't even think about it. It destroyed my friend to lose his cousin and it never really hit that close to home before
2022-08-07 01:38
Realy sad and unlucky. But how is that tiktok foult? If kid were smart he would never tried do this in first place. I think this is bad parrenting. Stay strong kid familly. Maybe miracle can still happen or its too late already?
2022-08-07 01:39
I've heard of an irl "game" that existed in the past between kids in school where one would basically asphyxiate the other to a certain extent. Idk if it still exists but I haven't personally encountered it when I was a kid.
My point is, kids did dumb and dangerous stuff before tiktok, so it's not really tiktok to blame (even though tiktok is cancer and I absolutely despise it).
2022-08-07 01:44
Kids fault for not realizing how dumb the trend is. Social media fault for promoting. Kids brain was dead but he was on life support for 4 months. Shouldn't be the doctors choice to end life support imo
2022-08-07 02:31
Natural selection at this point
Stupid fucking kids
2022-08-07 03:19
This kid isn’t even old enough to be on the app yet people are blaming it? Stupid parents should be hanged too
2022-08-07 03:24
Well, parents had a child and now they don't, but the child never had parents to begin with
2022-08-07 09:43
this is actually fucked up, parents really need to check more on their kid's in this modern society
2022-08-07 09:53
china is taking over 1 death at a time
2022-08-07 10:22
definitly the fault of tiktok lol
2022-08-07 11:21
Not the fault of TikTok or the kid, it's the fault of pressure that comes, with it.
If you don't do the challenge you lose respect and you are a total pussy,
If you do the challenge it can be your dead as with the boy.
Only sad thing here is that the treatment should had just ended when he was declared brain dead.
2022-08-07 11:32
people who say parenting did this are complete idiots, nowadays parents have no power of their kids anymore, the internet raises their kids. and try to not buy your son a phone, he will be looked like some utter alien in school and be bullied the shit, so he will also commit suicide, this is a tricky tricky one.
2022-08-07 11:33
tiktok removed the challenge, people are responsible his own actions, if they are under 18, it's their parents responsibilities, im not defending tiktok, i didn't even once used tiktok, Just educate your child and watch out them.
2022-08-07 12:24
Tiktok faces many charges in the USA from kids that died cuz of these challenges. And yeah you can blame the company 0 minor security. Same counts for twitch with their pornhub category.
The websites are made for every "customer" so you go there for normal things and not like special porn or bet websites. So parents have no fair chance to protect their kids from it
2022-08-07 12:41
Blaming TikTok is stupid. That is like saying hltv forum made you stupid.
2022-08-07 13:15
tiktok should be removed from existence, there is nothing good about it.
2022-08-07 13:19
people have been doing things like that long before tiktok
2022-08-07 13:38
Deserved. How can you be so stupid
2022-08-07 14:30
W tiktok, L girl (failed so ez challande) kinda cringe
2022-08-07 14:34
how stupid you are to even think about trying these stupid challenges
2022-08-07 14:41
This just shows how stupid Americans are
2022-08-07 16:41
its disgusting how many people just say the kid is dumb and basically deserves to die because of it
2022-08-07 16:45
