I was always the skinny kid who was eating 1000-1500 calories a day. I was 170cm with 49kg... kinda scary Decided to bulk & hit the gym. Now I am 65kg, 170cm. I need about 3000 calories a day to gain weight, but I simply cant. I always feel that I have to vomit during/after having a meal. This whole started this summer. For example, when I tried to ate ONE SINGLE sandwich for breakfast I was so close to vomit. I have to force every single piece of food to eat. I ate 3 hot dogs for dinner, and I feel very bad now. But i need to eat much to gain weight. I have no clue why is it happening. The heat? Or should I visit a doctor, maybe I have diabetes or something?

Today was a garbage like you said, and I agree. That's what I ate yesterday: Breakfast: 3 croissant with cheese + cold meat (idk how to say it in english) It's about 450 calories Lunch: 2 average pork with 90grams rice ( about 660 kcal) A 400 calorie smoothie dinner: omelette, used 4 eggs for that + white bread (about 600 kcal) I don't think it's really that much, I had to suffer to eat that all.

I know, but I already had difficulties eating it. I need about 3000, thats why I force myself to eat & drink more. It already happened once that I had to vomit after a big meal... trying to drink more and more smoothies

You dont have to eat 3000 calories man, especially when you're about 65 kg I do have 177 cm 66 kg and my daily calories abs is on 2200, with some activity it could goes to 2400. I bet you are around the same so just eat extra 200-300 calories above it but not like 800. Are you doing workouts? Without workout eating that much have no sense. Gaining 1 kg per week with eating 200-300 calories than your daily calories abs is healthy way to go, I know some of my friends that fucked up their stomach by eating way too much than they should to gain kcal. When you are on correct BPI all you need to go for gaining kgs is to starting to workout, transforming liquid in your body to the actual muscles (and thats the weight you want not like some yo-yo effect) EDIT: also if you have difficulty with eating i suggest to drink a lot of water to wake up the stomach acids which is super important, i had difficulty with eating on morning since i do that i dont have that problem

110 is not that great, would probably be better if you can hit 150 ish. If you have a hard time eating try to make shakes, goes down easier

I have no problems going to the gym and putting in the work, I totally love doing it. But i suck at eating. I don't wanna be lean as fuck, wanna get a bit more ,,buffer', if you know what i mean

yes yes i know what you mean, i have this 85 kg and 180 body but for the past 3.5 years i only ate 1 time per day (in between 16:00 18:30) so i didnt had to eat that much to gain weight and muscle so i guess its all genetics, you are unlucky buddy. You need to put more work then everybody else, keep it up. Good luck

yeah send it, maybe i can tell something also you shouldnt care what gymbros tell you, dude go visit doctor, they will test your blood and tell you the problem. Its 2022, blood test shines light on every problem you have. Also its not expensive either, if you have a insurance you'll get it free if not then it will be dirt cheap

I feel you I used to weigh upwards of 120kg I am currently at 90kg and I now eat around 1500-1700 I lost a lot of my appetite but you need to eat, to be healthy. You can make some simple swaps have chicken thigh instead of breast for example

When you alter your diet dramatically, it can fuck up your digestive system. Often times, it takes our body a while to tell us "dude chill." You need to alter your diet in phases so that it can adjust to new caloric intake, new sources of fiber, and especially to high volumes of protein. This is why it is often a good plan to swap through liquid sources first. If your stomach is giving you issues, take a week to give it a break through a BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast. This is good after any traumatic gastro event and can help your stomach, intestines, or vagus nerve recover. Also, diversify your diet. Slamming through massive amounts of protein each meal without carbs or fiber is not great on the stomach. Hot dogs have a lot of fat, which is super hard to digest in bulk, so avoid them for now. If you are still experiencing great discomfort, you will need to have an endoscopy done to see if you have developed ulcers and maybe another lower one to rule out colitis.

i know what you mean, i have the same sometimes. if you start feeling bad just stop eating and eat more after like 1-2 hours. and if you have trouble getting the calories just eat some chocolate or nuts(bettter because protein). but if you do this you have to eat well otherwise (for example chickenburritos/tacos with avocado, sweet onion and chipotlemayo. and i drink milk which is 32g protein in 1L. i'd say it's good. you have to drink water a lot as well ofc. dump the fucking cocacolas and other shit right now

I’m kinda in the same situation as you. I’m almost 140IB. I don’t look fat or anything but I just need to gain more muscle than I have right now. I’ve gained a lot of strength but not enough muscle/strength I should have gained in the 5-6 months I’ve been going to the gym on a consistent basis. I believe it’s my diet which I need to really work on.

I have personally always struggled with breakfasts as my apetite is always shit in the morning, but for that drink callories were a game changer. Just mix whatever you find at home and is gonna taste good, I usually go with some fruits, milk, ice cream and oats, also it is good to add some greek yoghurt for extra protein and protein powder. At summer you can add some ice as well and it is gonna taste super fresh, it is easy to eat and has a lot of callories if you mix it correctly, I usually get around 800 which for a breakfast is pretty good considering I wouldn’t eat anything otherwise. Anyway if you struggle with every meal, idk what could help, but deffinitely give this a try

Try eating smaller portions but more often. Eat high protein meals like chicken/eggs and rice 5-6 times a day, instead of eating 2-3 times a day. Make use of protein shakes and protein bars as well. If youre trying to get more calories foods like dark chocolate are good substitutes

bro im in the same boat with u, i started bulking back in december, when i was only around 168cm tall and weight probably 50kg. i ate around 1000-1500 kcal with a shitty amount of protein, but then i started eating more and hitting the gym around 4-5 times a week, now i'm 173cm tall and i weigh 62kg, and i have to eat literally 3000kcals to maintain this weight and to slowly gain more, which means i'm eating until almost throwing up everytime. so don't worry bro, bulking up is always a pain in the ass
