They are are not all the same genre, but they all should help you improve yourself as a man. Valuable lessons. Band Of Brothers about Easy Company in 101st Airborne in WW2 (also famous show), Catch 22 about personal integrity and concept of greed and how it distorts war to everyday life. Wealth of Nations is good introduction to economics and how countries build themselves up using talent, resources and labor. On the Road is by famous poet and writer Jack Kerouac which describes his journeys across America, and his experience as a young man being exposed to people from ALL different walks of life.

How to make friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie is a must for everyone and atomic habits is fucking brilliant, loved that one and also helped me a lot. never read anything from jordan peterson, so i can't really give any opinion on those.

yes it is manipulative, but it doesn't mean it's bad. I would say all people in the world are getting manipulated; by people around us, advertisements etc. Manipulation reflects the idea of being deceiving and using negative means(not necessarily the case) to get what someone wants. It happens almost everywhere. It doesn't mean you have to take advantage of them, you can manipulate people in a good way. I think it's just important to be cautious of and when you're getting manipulated, and this book definitely helps understanding it.

Its a biography, of the great Kimi Raikkonen, former formula 1 driver. Unfortunately within the sport, there aren't many drivers who write biographies or autobiographies, so its a rare insight into the workings of formula 1. The only other i've been able to find, is Kevin Magnussens autobiography

Idk how people define collections but that's only 4 books lol. If I had 4 Pokemon cards I wouldn't call it a collection. I have a stacked five-tier bookcase and I feel like it's a "start" but I cooled off a lot of reading in the last year or two. I've been tentatively eying up the Greek tragedians, I just don't feel like reading plays right now. The last book I read, a few months ago or so,, was Mark Twain's "Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc, by the Sieur Louis de Conte," and that was a very, VERY fun book to read.

Just instill in yourself a proper ethic and you can go far. I dictated to myself when I started, each day, I will read for two hours, or 50-60 pages, whichever comes first. You need to keep a steady pace, a solid forward progression, so that way the narrative of what you're reading will be more expediently and cohesively delivered and retained in your memory, and thus you should be able to properly enjoy it. Someone who wants to start reading but only applies themselves for 10 pages, maybe every 2-3 days or once a week, will have a very fragmented experience. Imagine watching a movie in 5 minute clips once every week: you wouldn't be able to properly appreciate it. It may seem like work at first but for me the greatest value has always come after-the-fact. Many books I have struggled to "get through" I have reflected on with fond reminiscence days or weeks after I finished it. And never underrate reading something more than once. A book isn't the same just because the words haven't changed. YOU may have changed, and its interesting to experience the old thing, with your new outlook, to see what new perspective or insight it reveals to you, and to see how you have grown.

That's because you haven't done it before. When you were a baby you couldn't take two steps without falling down. Written form between essay, book, and Twitter shitposts is all very different, but it's just a matter of learning syntax or the grammatic structuring of a more developed thought. Nobody actually develops a thought anymore since 140 character limit, and then when someone does people just say "tl;dr". But if you commit yourself it's not as if you can't learn it. It's just a new field to play in, a different game to play. First you were just shooting stationary bots, now you're adding strafing, and eventually you'll set them to fire back. One day you can go faceit level 10 of book reading, as long as you can (and want to!) apply yourself to learning it. Gl my mens))
