Finland is the world's biggest consumer of coffee on a per-person basis. The average Finn drinks nearly four cups a day. Coffee is so popular in Finland that two 10-minute coffee breaks are legally mandated for Finnish workers.

fracne is so low because the have red wine culture, if its anything like rural spain people have wine in almost every meal, this comes from the oldays when the only liquids that werent ridden with disseases were "dissinfected" alcoholic fruit beverages like wine or beer (ik its not fruit but its still vegetal fermentation)

wtf? its same with beer, beer was the cleanest shit to drink because water was commonly contaminated

With these gas prices it is cheaper to drink alcohol to keep you warm instead of heating your home.

Apart from the fact that Turkey is a transcontinental country, most standard maps of Europe are framed in a way that includes a big part of Asia Minor so just for convenience and to prevent having a big grey field on the bottom right corner it’s a good decision to include the data for Turkey

most of UK's drinkers count towards Czechia because it's cheaper to pay for a flight + beer in CZ than to pay for beer in UK moreover the czech one is better obviously

Beer is the cheapest drink you can get in czech restaurants in terms of the amount of mililiters and its price. Beer is simply cheaper than water. That is yet another reason why Czechia is the #1 consumer of beer.

im pretty sure that numbers for macedonia and greece should be higher, we drink more then those numbers
2022-08-08 13:14
Now imagine how high it is for some of the drinkers when you consider that in that average there are also people who don't even drink olololol Also sometimes I like to do the math just to see how much money I'm saving. It might be expensive around here, idk compared to international, but if I take 70 * 1.4L bottles (common larger/cheaper unit) of the lowest shelf garbage possible, it's still going to be $1500++. BRB buying another Karambit with my money saved.

so you just waste money on a skin instead
2022-08-08 14:48

Each man chooses the object of his waste with the equity of his preference. The true alternative is to never waste, thus to not spend. I am very good at not spend. As a matter of fact, I am punishably good at not spending, so that now people think I have all the money, so they ask to borrow ("borrow" = have). It's a strange feeling.
2022-08-08 15:19
but how much endorphins is this karambit going to give you? i bet way lower than all this beer

2022-08-08 14:38
I mean if you drink like 1 beer every evening (normal size is 0.5l per bottle) you are already at around 180l per year + then you have birthday parties or restaurant visits where you usually drink beer through the evening If you are not the driver or dont drink beer at all
2022-08-08 14:43

In a shop closest to me there was a old man who would sit near to a store with 1l plastic beer from 7 in the morning until it closed. I once asked cashier why he wont call police if he drinks this one beer whole day here, and he replied that he drinks 12 of those eceryday. So yeah there are people that are making up for others.
