Hooxi REAL TALK
 |
Poland Neo[T]orius
he just need perfect calls and tactics. let NiKo, m0nesy, hunter and jks handle the frag department. I believe in them, I BELIEVE IN G2 :DD

Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
Won't work. This move has disaster written all over it. Hooxi has no experience leading an international lineup, he frags like shit and was previously leading a team that had a high peak, but no consistency (which is already a problem with G2). I want to be optimistic, but I can't.

Its the same type of team for him though. Roej as star => NiKo as star, jabbi as second star doing nearly as good with less help => hunter, an inconsistent clutch awper in nicodoz => m0NESY and a solid reliable peace in zyphon => jks. Not exactly the same roles for them but it will in the end be a similar set up with 4 great players that makes up for him by far and still win. The team suit’s hooxie at the very least so that’s promising, but it is G2 so you will never know.

roej dedicated entry =/= Niko aggressive rifler. Niko wont and shouldnt bunnyhop through smoke first to take space on executes, that will have to be hooxi, lets see if he can do that
2022-08-10 14:27
I really hope you are wrong other wise daily -Hooxi threads will clog up HLTV like the -aleksib threads.

That was caused by the irrational aleksib fans, who would defend and even hype him although he would do a huge mistake or a terrible miss. This irritated everyone, even those who are neutral and has nothing against aleksi

no matter if he had god tier strategies, its still 4vs5 so G2 is unable to compete. Need to replace hooxi with actual firepower and let niko IGL. blameF joining would start G2 era.

I'm sure G2's problems run deeper than NiKo being a cock. I don't think he would ever AWP again, but I can see him taking calling over if he doesn't mesh with Hooxi.

He won't, NiKo said he doesn't want to IGL at this point of career anymore. If he was truly an egoistic dick like people think he is, he wouldn't allow hooxi in the lineup in the first place.

karrigan can go 9 kills in a double overtime game against navi, faze dont need a 5th player if hooxi can be at least half of what karrigan is in the calling department, g2 will be competitive against a majority of top teams and should beat most outside top 10

Yes, but they wanted an upgrade. G2 has been exactly as you described. Always a tournament contender, never a favorite. They will remain so with Hooxi, not getting from A to B.

i agree hooxi is not an upgrade on aleksi fragging wise but hooxi definitely has better calls Sadly his calls arent that much better to have warranted the change If he could expand his stratbook and combine with niko's playstyle, it could be for the better

I don't think Hooxi is better than Aleksib in any capacity. He might be a better stylistic fit, but not a etter IGL. Aleksib has led a national lineup to relative succes just as Hooxi, but he also led an international lineup of T2 players into the top 6.

If hunter fins consistency and NiKo regains his elite form all HooXi has to do is make some decent calls and let the core handle the rest plus I guess be the bait for hunter so he doesn’t go to shit like when jackz was gone for a bit

Every team where NiKo goes there always seems to be something wrong, something that can't be resolved no matter who you bring in, something that doesn't make them look like a real team, they start on a decent note then keep struggling and being worse every tournament. Then there will be 1 tournament they will nake deep run and in next tourney back to trash.

You can build that narrative around a lot of players if you overanalised them like you do NiKo.

If I were Hooxi, I would go all the 4 players and understand what they expect. What made them thrive the best, points where they felt they were peaking. This time.... I would be sitting and reviewing demos about what worked in 2021 and what didn't work in 2022. Understand what failed. Address the problems individually and then as a group. I am not going to an impact maker with my fragging ability. I am going to be impact maker by setting up the rest 4 in ways that allows them shine best. NiKo can't play supremely tactical counter-strike but he can pop heads off and that's basically G2 in general. So set NiKo and M0nsey to be head poppers. Hooxi and Jks as support to head poppers. Hunter go lurk. Ah a final element that I would really like to introduce to G2 would 'Be round reset' without taking out a timeout if lose 3 rounds in a row. A change of pace round to get an effective mental win.

In True definition he is. But he can't have 2 lurks. If Hunter's lurk start failing switching gears and moving it JKs is part of change of pace that I would try to establish. Reason I want Jks has support role is because He is pretty capable there as well and Hunter had high impact rounds with his Lurk. Compared to each other. Jks has a better sense to play off a player than Hunter ( in my humble opinion). In the most of the things I described would work phenomenal on CT. On T is where the challenge will lie. Honestly for that I would prefer to be utility heavy setups towards Mid-round. But each to their own. I want to see what Hooxi will bring to table. Despite all the people shouting for AleksiB. I dont think he is a solid IGL. More often than not there was a disorientation in the team from 10th round onwards. Executes weren't as polish. So i dont know... If Hooxi can bring in a solid execution base fundamentals and make Niko buy into it. I think he doesnt has to be a fragger to be Top tier team.

"But after seeing a few other key people in the scene talk about the issue and argue why this combination could actually work, I'm beginning to see the light. Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg and Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović — the latter being a former coach of jks from the Renegades and 100 Thieves times, of course — had a brief discussion on Twitter where they shared a different viewpoint, with the American analyst saying role clashes are being overstated by the community and the Serbian coach even going as far as to argue that there are none. G2's coach, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, stepped in as well to say huNter-'s best positions aren't the lurky ones he has fulfilled in recent times, suggesting jks might just get what he is best at." hltv.org/news/34316/expert-take-kassad-a..

Hmmm. Interesting take. Let's see how they execute. Ofc ... 3 of them are in better position to make the call. My thoughts are an example of how one can lead the team.
