Damn fnatic and EG didnt sign him both team missed a big opputunity to sign a really good igl and now with apeks making styko igl now they cajt sign him. Really hope Col is smart enough to sign him he can make those players actually compete.

He's finished isn't he? He wasn't even that good in Ence but luckily got a lot of attention He got signed for og and didn't show anything, then same scenario in G2 Another ALEX

No, he's not. In OG he was doing fine for the expectations of that team. Then, in G2, with Niko, well, there's another story. I just feel like Niko was a little bit toxic and he still is. But that's just my opinion.

In og he was doing great with the players he got eventhough they didnt win anythuing but he still did great. And Niko and aleksib problem is prolly isnt toxicity and prolly its just the fact that aleksib igling doesnt fit with niko

Yeah, you said it better, +1

Niko is probably the only igl who fits with Niko lol

Not really but i think it's kinda out of meta to get a non fragging igl anyway. It's not 2016 anymore when igl could play bad and have lvl8 faceit aim

Aleksib is a decent fragger just had a shit run in g2
2022-08-10 13:28

He’s just very slow and puts himself in positions where its pretty much impossible to frag well. On mirage every game g2 played he bottomfragged heavily with very few frags but always had the same/even less deaths. Just a very weird way to call in 2022 in my opinion, off-meta and clearly didnt work. While rest of the team’s IGLs run around the map like crazy looking for info and an entry, aleksib is afk in some weird ass spot where someone may come 1/5 rounds best case scenario
2022-08-10 13:39

Well on ct sides he obviously gets himself to positions where he can't frag because he is the support/anchor of the team, like HLTV did the analyzes of positions and how they affect you stats and b site Mirage was the worst position on any map and Aleksi plays there. Sure he could have sacrificed himself more for his team to succeed but Jackz was kinda supposed to be that guy and he had even worse stats than Aleksi.

They didnt have “that guy”. They didnt have a player going for info plays. Jackz was simply the first man in. I think in 2022 it might be necessary to have someone who goes for info plays. After all, almost every top team has a guy that does it. Karrigan does it, electronic does it (well, not as much. Navi kind of have their own thing going on), nafany does it, apex does it, snappi does it, hampus as well. Only a few teams are lacking in this regard

It goes both ways though, it gets you good success if it works, but if it doesnt then its a 4v5 and whatever info you get is instantly outdated because they will have reacted off of the advantage you just gave them Aleksi had a lot of success with just listening for util/footsteps and exploiting timings on ENCE and trading off of it, he probably wants to desperately recreate that since it did give them genuinely top3 T sides at the time

Their spacing was nearly perfect. Imo ence did the basics but they did them so damn well it just kept on working

I dont think anyone would disagree with that Being able to default 8 rounds in a row on Inferno T side and win them is proof of exactly this, it just requires a level of hivemind CS that isnt possible against puggy teams or in non-native language and has probably fallen out of meta exactly for this reason Pretty much why if he ever returns to FI its an absolute must that he plays either sergej and either one of x7 or Aerial

xseven is imo the perfect player for aleksib's system, if sergej didnt join the militairy he wouldve been the perfect player as well
2022-08-10 14:42
You need to watch some past ence games. They were the best team in the world at trading kills. That shows that his style needs players that truly follows the gameplan. Thats just my opinion but they werent that good invidually but the teamplay made them great

With ENCE he made it to: IEM Kato 2019, BLAST Madrid 2019, DH Dallas 2019, IEM Chigago 2019 With OG he made it to: IEM New York 2020, Flashpoint 2, IEM Summer 2021 With G2 he made it to: IEM Kato 2022 All finals Then there are also the shit t2 events as well This is more finals appearances than most other IGLs in the last few years, he is good, he can get teams to finals better than most others, he just is missing something to win But to say he's shit or compare to ALEX is just an unfair lie

He won't go to coL if he has to move to NA Especially not since their definition of an upgrade over Junior is somehow hallzerk who is just going to mald every single match

hallzerk was putting up 1.05 this year and 1.10 last year, neither are t1 star AWP levels, same goes for others like m0nesy with 1.12, if he isnt good enough hallzerk is sure as fuck not good enough In terms of teams Aleksi probably sits this season, maybe Vitality will try for him if they decide they want structure and apEX gets cut, otherwise theres 0 roster that will get him rn That + having a G2 buyout means no one domestically will buy him out so unless he's allowed to play with some orgless Finnish mix he probably wont play at all for a longer while still

It would mainly be for dupreeh Magisk and zonic's benefit though, having an IGL that doesnt have swiss cheese for a brain and can actually develop a structure that works

Yep i really like that idea
2022-08-10 13:33
How much is his buyout estimated? , cause big org like g2 might locked him behind a massive paywall that became a problem for other orgs who want to sign him
2022-08-10 13:23
2 replies
+1 G2 probably know his value so the buyout will be too big for orgs like Fnatic/EG/Apeks/CoL (all of which could use an IGL of his level) Plus they do tend to keep their players on the bench, KennyS has been benched for a year and a half (though that's probably because him streaming helps that) and the last benched player, AMANEK, was there for 7 months
2022-08-10 13:47

My speculation is that, org like fnatic and apeks do prolly have the money to buyout his contract. But since in the last season Aleksi failed to give a good impression, it makes the orgs kinda hesitant to sign him and just choose the cheaper option with fair expectation.
2022-08-10 14:56
why such a great teams like fnatic and EG should sign such a useless bot?

CoL or Liquid could always take him, they wouldn't mind an IGL upgrade, surely. Mouz or Endpoint could also try to upgrade their IGL. So he has a few options. And he could also go back to the finnish scene, maybe form a team with Sunny and Sergej?

Liquid is prolly going to stick with nitr0 if yekindar joijs permanently becuse that roster actually looks promising, dexter has just started to show some really good igling recently he has finally imo adapted to tier 1 and endpoint is prolly to small of a name for aleksib to join. Imo if he joining a finnish team he should be with xseven i feel like hes the perfect player for aleksib's system and i dont think joining havu is likely either

He could always just create a new lineup with Smooya, Espiranto, Sergej and Buster, for example. Sounds like a good mixture of experience and potential. Only time will tell where he will land I guess, but yeah, you're right, the options are certainly limited...
2022-08-10 13:48
I kinda have a feeling that they will keep Aleksi and I kinda think that will be the move to make. Players have the time to adapt to their team and I think that Aleksi clicked with the rest of the core. 2 player moves seem to not be the best call by the managment, Jackz is already cut it's confirmed but we still have no confirmation on Aleksi. I think ot would be a move for G2 to keep him.

Hooxi is already confirmed to be joining g2 not officaly but g2 has locked their blast roster with hooxi and jks on it

No public interstest in Aleksi, nothing is stoping them from mixing it up in a few tournaments. Still I think that they're making a mistake with constants two man roster shuffles
2022-08-10 14:06
JT deserves a chance with good roster. Aleksi alreday got one and got kicked within 6 months.

First of all Aleksib`s achievement can`t put him in great IGL list. Aleksib had a almost perfect team role wise and with insane amount of fire power and he still couldn`t do anything except one grand final event then what he will do with such a weak roster ???

I could see fnatic being a good if they didnt make mezii into an igl imo this would ruin one of my favorite player to watch rn. And EG is just a mess but getting aleksib would really help them in 3 of the teams

really good igl you made my day. Thank You!

Carn said that they approached him. If i had to guess, g2 asked for more than fnatic wanted to pay.
