So im trying to gain weight but dont know how many calories should i eat I started at the gym 2 weeks ago but I think I've been failing in the "food" part Im 174cm , 21 y and weight 54kg right now and work 8 hours standing or moving. Can someone help me ? Thanks in advance brothas :)

Yes it’s good but I have a problem every time I shoot my team like if they ignore me I get a seven day ban what the fuck stupid game sometimes I have been able to play like five matches in the past month and the rest of the time I’ve been banned I’m currently serving up on right now

personal trainer here litteraly just eat, dont worry about what you eat (assuming you eat reasonbly), with that said, dont overdo it, dont just eat pure shit, but try to eat as much FOOD as possible, dont eat to much snacks and so on. try to focus your intake on protien also good luck mens

I dont wanna argue with a personal trainer, but isn't literally just eat is a bit wild? Eating a lot of carbs could get you gain more fat than actual muscle. I know it's not necessary to eat 100% right when you are a hobby, natural ,,,bodybuilder"" but he really should pay attention to protein/fat/carbs

It wouldn’t be the best advice with someone like me and you put these people have incredible neat and resting metabolic rates they literally need to eat a ton one of my good pals has been eating 4000 cal a day and are you still very skinny there is a good video I will find the link to you some people are genetically gifted

Because high calorie foods usually have high carbs. It's very easy to get a ,,dad bod" while bulking, gotta be careful doing that

I have seen his MyFitnessPal logs he eats 3500 to 4500 today consistently a lot of his calories does come from oil and nuts which are incredibly calorie dense but he’s eating it I know he is

Carbohydrates do not make you fat carbohydrates can make you bloated and weigh more but weighing more does not mean having more fat I don’t know the exact statistic but I believe it’s around 1 g of carbohydrates can hold 3 to 4 mL of water or around that which is why some people get incredibly bloated from it. It’s why when people start doing the keto diet or whatever it’s called they lose an enormous amount of weight but not an enormous amount of fat

my friend is 179 and weighs 58kg, he eats 12 scrambled eggs for breakfast every day and has massive lunches and dinners, some people are just born different. his dad has like 6 pint sized beers every single day and eats like a horse and is the same.

young people often are capable of eating a lot without actually putting on any noticable fat, and with newbies it's almost impossible to become fat if your training properly. Also, carbs is the bodies prime energy form, so most if it will be used during training, and to put on someone a "diet" is just disencourage someone a lot, imagine saying "im trying to get good at cs" and then someone telling you "ok play ONLY aim_botz and DM and for every 200 hours you can play one game" people would not stick to it very long, yes? might be a bit nerdy but there you have it :)

Agree with you, my personal experience was a bit different. I was so skinny, I got perfect abs, etc. I just did the ,,eat big to get big" thing, and although I have gained about 14kg, i got belly fat, my abs were gone totally but my arms were still very skinny. My daily carbs intake was about 800. I was afraid to have a dad bod, so I lowered carbs to 300-400, and trying to eat atleast 110-120g of protein each day. I'm at 12-13% bodyfat at the moment, bulking again, but trying to be more aware this time.

He will gain fat, then he will need to lose it if he wants some acceptable abs and overall body, then he will lose his musculs while losing fat, so you gave him shit suggestation OP says "I started at the gym 2 weeks ago..." So he just needs to keep working and eat normal kcals everyday

Count macros (make sure you eat enough protein + fats based on your weight, and fill the rest with carbs) as to be eating 2200-2500kcal, then take a picture and weigh yourself the first day before starting it, then after those 2-3 weeks. If you see a weight increase + muscle increase, you can either try upping them a little bit more depending on results or keep doing it until you don't see any more results compared to the previous weeks, and then increase them for 100-150kcal. If after those 2-3 weeks you haven't gained any weight/you've lost some weight, increase them by another 200-500kcal depending on the results and start again

Use a personal trainer that can also give advice on proper nutrition to gradually increase your food consumption in line with an exercise program. Just eating more won’t help, you have to actually plan it and stick to it.

I hit puberty like 5 years ago and still weigh around 56 kg even if I eat around 4-5 meals a day. Pretty sure it has something to do with metabolism

Use basic caloric calculator on internet. Add 200-300 calories to your ideal predicted calories intake. Check your body after month, if you haven't gained weight, add another 200-300 calories.

I'm a bit more tall+weight but similar proportions and I was counting macros and shit and according to all the apps/plans my intake to maintain was 1650kcal (lol) and I should gain with 1900kcal according to those maths. Guess what, I was eating 2300kcal on average since forever, I went up until 2900kcal doing banana shakes with oats and peanut butter at all hours for some months and barely won a kg, so I totally gave up because it had no sense to eat that much. My wife eats way less than me and if in one week she eats a bit more she gets weight pretty easily, I guess genetic takes a big part on this, since all my family is on my line.

The 1650 maintenance calories was your basal metabolic rate I'm assuming. Which is the amount you burn if you sit in bed all day and don't move. To use those calculators correctly, you would also have to add the daily calories you burn from work/exercise/just walking around.
