working remotely in it/online marketing in america/europe getting paid in $/€ and living in countries like thailand for example where you pay 200 am month for renting house that would cost a fortune in 1st world countries, cheap gas, cheap groceries/living expenses in general, great culture, great food, extremely nice people, insane beaches, beautiful islands etc. if i had the knowledge of getting a job like that i would do it in an lnstant.

Literally just learn to code 6 hours a day and you can get a high paying wfh job within 2 years, less than 1 year if you're good at leetcode and interviewing.

it doesnt even need to be a high paying job, you can live extremely comfortable in indonesia/thailand with 1-1.5k usd. problem is i dont think they dont just take any foreigners that dont have either have proof of saved up money (20-30k) or an actual job in that country or be married to a local. anyways im very eager to learn to code, but i am no math genius, and i used my pc almost exclusively for gaming and studying, so i have absolutely zero pre knowledge of coding, what are my chances?

If your English is good, if you have a solid GitHub with good projects, good English, good interview and Leetcode skills, a very good chance. The easiest WFH language to learn imo is Javascript or Python. I recommend The Odin Project for the former, it teaches you everything and is a pretty solid pathway to a job.

tried to do the same just to realize that I don't like programming at all. It's nice to hear all the benefits and paywage but it really is not meant for everyone

Nah man I'd rather work than getting 15 usd a month for doing nothing. I'm talking about real money here, about making bank, fucking millionaire deals, cracka!

moving or travelling? cause you cant just move there without a decent paid job and/or proof of saved up money of at lesst 20-30k usd, at least in thailand. talking about a permanent stay, not a tourist visa

Traveling would fit better, indeed. But anyways, it's still pretty easy to renew your tourist visa in Thailand, i already talked with people who lived there for a while, the biggest cons for going there is that they tax foreign income, while the Philippines doesn't.

I went to Bali and Phuket in 2018 and even though i loved both places i would definitely choose thailand over indonesia. But the taxinf part is a good point, i wonder how much they actuallly tax foreigners income though. Indonesia is a muslim country as well, so the cultural differences were very different to those in Thailand, which was suited more for me. but we are all different, Indonesia is still amazing of course.

I've been talking with people who are living this lifestyle since the beginning of the pandemic, they all say that you need to be very open minded when living like that. The foreign tax income from SEA countries will always be between 15-20%, have in mind that they only tax permanent residents, if you go there with the usual tourist visa you won't be taxed, you will be able to stay for about 2-3 months, some countries make it easier to renew the tourist visa, others will make it harder, what many nomads usually do is they live for 3 months in X country, then they move to Y... Many choose SEA because it's cheap, not violent and people are more open to foreigners.

why is that? those kids grow up like actual men and women, not this clusterfuck of political nonsense you see in the west. values and traditions are very important over there. i would actually prefer wanting my kids to grow up in such environment.
