Liquid v G2 predictions
 |
United States ISpeakFacts
G2 has Hooxi and JKS Liquid has Yekindar again. The core of Elige, NAF, and Yekindar is stronger than Niko, Hunter, m0nesy. And Hooxi is somehow worse than nitr0. So it's a toss up.

no its easy for g2 JKS will destroy all and NiKo will give them bosnian penetration

I think liquid will win it sadly. jks was playing au cs whole summer and have a very responsible role in the team.

Also wtf you underestimating nitr0? His liquid is way better than fallen's and he is a good captain overall even without taking to account grand slam and era
2022-08-13 02:17
I mean G2 has beaten liquid by a combined 48-19 their past 3 maps lol and g2 upgrades from Jackz. It all depends on Hooxi

Yeah but you could say the same thing about C9. They beat Liquid 80-35 in their last 5 maps before Cologne but then got swept 2-0 by a Liquid team with like one week of practice. This new Liquid team looks Significantly better than any recent iteration and you can only assume they will be even better with more practice. I’m biased tho

yekindar jks are not really comparable. yekindar will hard entry while jks will lurk. Hunter was lurking out of necessity. Niko will probably entry while jks lurks and hunter is a star rifler. with that, id say: Nitro>Hooxi (Rifling) Nitro<Hooxi (calling) Niko>Yekindar Naf>=jks Elige>Hunter Osee<Monesy
2022-08-13 02:42
That's not how the game works. You have to compare all players. Niko>Elige>Yekindar>Hunter>NAF>JKS>m0nesy>oSee>nitr0>hooxi

I think it’s a complete toss up, either team could get blown out. I give the edge to Liquid bc they looked a lot better with YEKINDAR, and G2 are implementing a new IGL.

It all comes down to Hooxi's calling or oSee performing. Will probably be a pretty close game but I think Liquid will beat G2 considering G2 has a new IGL
2022-08-13 06:06
1 reply
G2 might be a bit out of shape for this whole event, and I actually have really high hopes for Liquid here as well. Even if HooXi and jks are the literal perfect fits for G2, Liquid have a solid lineup with lots of players that look like they're on the verge of tier 1 EU. For me unless an insane NiKo/M0nesy carry takes place I think Liquid win.
2022-08-13 06:33
G2 get 15-12 lead, they choke to OT. liquid get 18-16 OT lead, they choke to 2nd OT, and it keeps going until we find out who is real king of choke

The core of g2 is Niko, hunter and jks first of all. Whether hooxi is better or worse than nitr0 is hard to say, both fragging and leading wise. M0nesy on a good day is etter than oSee, but oSee is more consistent. Pretty even match

"The core of Elige, NAF, and Yekindar is stronger than Niko, Hunter, m0nesy" joke of the century, Niko can easily beat Elige, Naf and Yekindar alone.

really jks and hooxi? havent heard single thing about them
2022-08-13 13:13
Last 3 maps : 16-6 16-5 16-8 Niko,Hunter,Monesy core > Elige,Naf,Osee EZ4G2 Yekindar won't be that good in liquid even tho i rate him highly , he just don't have the best roles and Jks is natural anchor so it will fit him.
2022-08-13 13:17

Wym not have the best roles? They literally gave him every role that he wanted. Elige changed a ton of his spots to accommodate Yekindar.
2022-08-13 14:51

more like EliGE happily gave YEKINDAR the entry role so he can be alive more and have better stats/impact
2022-08-13 20:18

I mean that’s true, but Yekindar specifically asked for that role so I don’t really see a problem. Yekindar gets his preferred spots and Elige gets his. Seems like a win win
2022-08-13 22:03
3 replies
the roles might be what YEKINDAR prefers but they aren’t the easiest roles
2022-08-13 22:36

I never said that they were the easiest. The Original post said that Yekindar won't be good in Liquid which I disagree with. He put up a 1.15 last year in very similar roles with worse riflers to support and trade him. I would imagine having higher caliber teammates would allow him to at the very least maintain a solid 1.1+ rating throughout the second half of the year which is spectacular for an entry fragger.
2022-08-13 23:16
1 reply
He is still unproven out of V.P system but I think he can do well
2022-08-13 23:37
liquid just might take it
2022-08-13 15:20
There is some argument to be made that Elige, NAF, Yekindar is better than Niko, Hunter, m0nesy, but is a weird one and completely depends on if Niko shows up or if Elige shows up (NAF, Hunter always show up). I would say they’re probably equal. But that’s only looking at 3 players, JKS should be stronger than Nitro or oSee in terms of impact. Yekindar also didn’t look great the first time he subbed for them, though he enabled Elige. If Yekindar isn’t good or if JKS shows up at all, G2 should have the firepower advantage. However, G2’s teamplay has been downright abysmal and totally inconsistent, while Liquid looked pretty cohesive with Yekindar last time. Very hard to call without knowing how the new pieces fit into G2. If everything works, there should be no way G2 lose based on firepower, but if Yekindar shows up and G2 has anything go wrong Liquid could easily take it
