In his recent insta story he posted "big announcement soon" And then in next story he wished headtrick good luck? What could all this mean?

"What could all this mean?" That he is: A) Baiting and is just out for 1 tournament because he feels ill or got some injury etc. B) Leaving for another team C) Moving to Valorant, which is highly unlikely.

Going with A here. B: Nah man, I don't see him leaving Na'Vi anytime soon. If anything, he will be taking a break. C: I doubt he will make the move to Valorant mid-year. If anything, he will move to Valorant in 2023.

+1 smartest hltv user with number C this is literally the worst time to switch to valorant. Every team is either A. already qualified for worlds and wont change roster or B. just failed to qualify for worlds in which case won be playing for like 6months so terrible time to join

Fair points. I don't follow the VALORANT scene at all, so it makes more sense to me now that he wont be moving to that game because of your points!
2022-08-14 15:07
Then again though It's S1mple.... If S1mple seriously wanted to switch to Valorant i don't think a single team wouldn't take the risk. Even mid season the majority of teams would probably still take the risk, And if the team just failed to join worlds, it's actually the best time to join. Roster moves are commonly made after missing out on a big tournament. 6 months is a good amount of time for someone to get comfortable with a different game, new team, potentially switiching to english etc.

Usually in valorant rosters make changes around December. Because right now they are still deciding if they wanna stay together or make changes. +They only really start scrimming in like january so theres no point to get someone in summer maybe in october but this is just most moves. You raise a really good point that someone like s1mple probably would be added to a roster rn even if almost no one is added now. That said I dont think the teams that qualified will make changes for a csgo player even if it is the best alive.
2022-08-15 02:48
He said he'll quit cs only when he gets navi to the point where no team can beat them. I read it in 2020-21 I djnno the source

Well. I believe S1mple stated that he enjoys playing it. But i doubt hes switching.

Or D) hes actually taking a break to sort out his private life like he teased before -he needs to find a place to stay etc

Well, if that was the case then b1t and SDY also would be on a break. And i doubt he would say "Big announcement" if hes moving. Either way, hes probably back in 2½ weeks at ESL PL or, hes going to Valorant.

Sdy is still in kiev and doesnt plan to move out afaik and idk whats the situation with b1t but its been confirmed by simple he doesnt have a place to live in. maybe he just was unable to sort it out during the player break. And i see taking a few months break as a big announcement Its still much more likely than him changing teams or even games. And if he was baiting headtrick wouldnt go to bootcamp in simples place
2022-08-13 18:15
"Well, if that was the case then b1t and SDY also would be on a break." Sdy still lives Kyiv, and b1t goes home sometimes between events to stay with his family. S1mple has stated that he doesn't have anywhere to call home (like sdy and b1t do), so he has been "living out of a bag" for months now. He has been contemplating taking a break for awhile now ever since the invasion started because he needs to find a place outside of Ukraine that he can "call home" for the time being instead of constantly carrying his entire life in a bag. The main thing that he said that was stopping him from taking a break was the fact that FaZe was closing in on the Grand Slam. He mentioned this specifically when he said that he was contemplating taking a break after C9 beat FaZe at IEM Dallas which meant that FaZe could no longer secure the Grand Slam with a win at Cologne (which they obviously went on to win after he said this). That being said, the most likely scenario is that s1mple is taking Blast Fall Groups off since he is already resting due to the player break. Hopefully he has found a place that he can call home and is now just getting some extra time off to clear his mind and come back motivated for ESL Pro League Groups. This would make the most sense for multiple reasons. 1) Even if they don't qualify at Blast Fall Groups, they still have another chance to qualify for Fall Finals, and even if they don't qualify for Fall Finals it's not the end of the world because it doesn't count towards the Grand Slam + NaVi already qualified for the Blast World Final at the end of the year 2) The main thing that B1ad3 keeps mentioning over and over is that sdy needs more time to adapt to the system and that he is making a lot of mistakes because he isn't fully familiar with it yet. Not having s1mple at bootcamp and Blast Fall Groups isn't the end of the world because it still means that sdy can continue to get familiar with the system. 3) S1mple sitting out bootcamp and Blast Fall Groups gives headtr1ck a chance to fill in and gives B1ad3 a better idea of what headtr1ck is really capable of at the next level of pro play. At the end of the day, sdy is not a permanent player on NaVi yet. B1ade said that he is just a stand-in for now, and he will have to improve if he wants to keep his spot on the roster post Rio major. "And i doubt he would say "Big announcement" if hes moving." S1mple followed up his instagram story post about the "big announcement" with another post wishing headtr1ck luck at Blast Fall Groups and said "to be continued". This isn't the first time that he has made a cryptic post and people freaked out over it, when in reality it ended up not being a big deal. twitter.com/s1mpleO/status/1531743931813.. He made that tweet just 3 days after the news about boom getting benched came out. The "2BC" is "to be continued" which is the same thing he said in his recent post after his "big announcement". Odds are that the "big announcement" was just headtr1ck filling in for him at Blast Fall Groups which honestly is a big announcement considering s1mple has been a pillar for NaVi for years now. The most logical explanation for all of this is that s1mple has been wanting to take a break for a while now and B1ad3 told him this is the perfect time to take a few extra weeks off so that he can come back as close to 100% as possible so that they can try and stop FaZe from winning the Grand Slam + Major which would without a doubt cement FaZe's era. "Either way, hes probably back in 2½ weeks at ESL PL or, hes going to Valorant." The whole Valorant switch is blown out of proportion. S1mple is a competitor and there is no way he switches to Valorant right as FaZe are about to cement an era. If anything he would switch to Valorant after the 2022 season is over. But even then it wouldn't make any sense for him to take an enormous pay cut to go play Valorant during the prime of his CSGO career. NaVi was on the verge of having their own era at the beginning of 2022 after a dominant finish to 2021, then Russia invades his homeland, boom gets benched, and now FaZe is on the verge of their own era. There is no way in hell s1mple just rolls over and admits defeat, lets FaZe have a cakewalk to their Grand Slam + era, and he just bails out to Valorant when he on track for his third #1 in three years. -- Random American

Yes he will at some day. But he can not upgrade now. There is no reason to switch team now, not a single one. Also , there is no reason to switch to valorant. Only thing possible is break , nothing else
2022-08-14 18:10
I really hope he goes to valorant, csgo has been stale for a while and removing train and adding vertigo 2.0 aka ancient hasn't helped the cause, the economy is somehow worse than it was in 2018, every game is like watching a 2500 elo faceit stack pug and tbf a guy like s1mple could become no 1 in two games with ease.

Although watching Shroud get hyped like the savior of SEN only to go -23 k/d and get embarrassed out of LCQ was oddly satisfying. But yeah you know VAL is boring as fuck when Tarik has more viewers than the actual channel. If Tarik didn't do commentary no one would watch VAL tourneys.

Oddly satisfying and, quite frankly, deserved. Now I don't hate Shroud, but his shifting comments towards CS and FPS games in general, him facing some challenge to his statements is a bit awesome. +1. Honestly Valo at this point feels like a CS player graveyard, along with people who didn't ever play CS (haven't bothered or w/e). Nothing wrong with that, but it's the brutal truth.

In one moment, he praises CS and in the next, he's slamming it saying Valo will overtake it. One moment, he said PUBG is great, the next, a buggy mess (it always was a buggy mess). At least, that's what I got from watching several of his streams over time. Opinions can shift, but I feel like this kind of shifting is too much.

TL;DR: >VAL comes out. SEN slay everything. Top team NA etc. >All of a sudden SEN go from S-Tier to losing everything, they didn't win a single game during the regular season >Have to do LCQ's (Last Chance Qualifier - to get to their 'Major') and need 2 subs - 1 is Zellsis which is generally okay and the other is... Shroud. For some reason. >Knocked out in 2nd round of Lower Bracket by 100T.

S1mple has had far too much success in his career to be broken by a loss at Cologne. Think about how much he's had to overcome in his personal and professional life. Gonna take alot more than that to Break the GOAT.

It's assumed due to rumour that s1mple is leaving the team, either because of an injury or the switch to "Valorant"; whether or not headtr1ck will be s1mple's replacement is still up in the air. Most important thing to remember: It's nothing more than a rumour.
