because they are unsuccessful and im interested in where the money comes from

Because winning tournaments has nothing to do with how rich an org is , the business is based on sponsorships, commercial and marketing, not winning tournaments

Og are a budget team, they spend the bulk of their money in the dota team Eg are trying to support NA scene Col what doing???

Complexity got requirements with ESL to grow the NA scene and are financially helped to do so. I think I heard that somewhere, EG probably got the same thing, they wouldn't pay thousands for "academies teams" which won't go nowhere if they didn't have help from ESL. As for Falcons, oil money. We see Arabic countries having insane cashprize for events, like look at Gamers8 they made in Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege, 2 millions for charity each, when there is no scene, same for Global Esports Dubai. They're trying to get appreciate by the community with soft power, paying billions by doing events, having esport teams. Like bro, for Valorant franchises, those guys said to Riot, "we could make a city aimed at esport" like bro, they are truly insane, and they got really deep pockets.

They got a fundraiser months ago of 3 millions mainly for the CS GO team, so they got money to burn. Source : apeks.gg/strengthening-the-club-for-furt.. "ProUnite Esport AS has raised NOK 32 million (norwegian crowns) in a private placement to existing owners for further investment in the e-sports team, Apeks. The owners have a strong belief in further growth and good performance internationally and nationally." "Counter-Strike was Kingpins’ focus area"

Most orgs are owned by rich people, even the small ones. It just depends how much money the owners are willing to spend
2022-08-15 10:07
