Listening to something I can't understand the meaning of is pointless for me
I basically only listen to music in other languages.
I listen to some french music
Yes, Spanish music is full of bangers.
I listen Black Metal generally, so language really doesn't matter. Mostly you don't even understand one sinqle word even you it's your native language so...
I only listen to music in english :v
No portuguese music at all
I listen to a decent amount of spanish music but I am half mexican so idk if that really counts (I speak a little bit of spanish but im not fluent)
Depends on if I like the song or not, I used to listen to some songs from other languages than Greek or English but haven't done it in a while
99 luftballons, a german song that I met in GTA vice city!
And there are a lot of good music in spanish!
Latin American reggae is awesome.
Now that you mention it , I don't think I do .
I mean besides any meme song with a Catchy tune or just any tune I come across , I might listen to them but not for the lyrics .
99% of my music is in english
Yeah some spanish songs aswell except for english/swedish
Some finnish rap for some reason
Spanish Brazilian and Portuguese songs
Some romanian rap
I mostly listen to K pop, so basically Korean mixed with English. Haven t listened to a song in my native language for at least 2 years though.
Yeah pretty often, for me the beat makes 90% of the song
Balkan war songs
Do we count Cantonese? There's big difference between Mandarin and Cantonese
Föl föl vitezek á csatára, a szent szabadzag oltalmara
Restricting yourself with "imma listen only songs that I find meaningful" is kind of against the nature of music
Yes. I mostly listen to Japanese music.
swedish/danish a lot but i understand ofc
Dora - Dura Dura
Sometimes german, ukrainian and russian music
Also quite fond of Japanese rock
For me a good song is a good song regardless of a language. Voice is mostly an instrument for me so anything goes, I may not even care what it says if I just like the song
yeah, i hate french singers
I by and large prefer to listen to foreign music so I don't have to be turned off by horrible, cliche, thoughtless, or otherwise anti-poetic lyric. Harsh/dirty vocals are even better, and then at last, instrumental is the best.
I have ended up listening to a peculiar amount of French music, however, for some reason. I don't know if its a sound that is intrinsic to the French indie scene, or that all of the sounds I've liked I just happened to stumble upon there, first. But from the first to last, things like Deathspell Omega across the spectrum to Year of No Light, they produce by quantity and quality many and interesting bands throughout all sorts of niches.
