"tier 1" exposed
 |
Austria Very_nice_danish_guy
Losing games or just winning vs non partner teams. Only reason why "tier 1" teams are "tier 1" is because they get free points for partner spots.

what he is saying is still correct, because this franchising shit is just a gigantic circle jerk of big orgs
2022-10-06 13:10

lets see how many tier 1 teams that wont make the major boosted from partner spots
2022-10-06 13:13
bo1. Easier to prepare a gameplan against a top team on a single map.

same for both teams tier 1 teams get to pick side, so odds are on their side from the start
2022-10-06 13:13
What is preventing these teams from making a run at the major?

being able to play in front of a crowd all the time due to invites makes things considerably easier than grinding your way to the top

Especially true when it comes to NA teams who use money to buy the spots to farm free points. Put them to any open qualifier and they get trashed.

I'm not crying, you're crying. Anyways, bo1 upsets at majors is a tale as old as time, and over time the difference between the tiers of CS have only gotten closer so this type of stuff is always expected

Underdogs have huge advantage in bo1s, mostly because they can study the higher tier team very thoroughly, meanwhile the lower tier teams are basically unpredictable. A few clutches in the underdog's favour and boom, they win the map. They're a bit worse, but still very very good, it's not like the tier1 teams are playing gold nova amateurs... lol

go cry and come back when your tier 1 team can get some more free partner spots points
2022-10-06 13:18
People discovering now why Movistar Riders or CPHfalmes had hard times to go through qualifiers while they can do great when it's bo3 against T1 teams.

only team that has made it far during majors is CPHF the rest of these teams best results are challenger?????????????
2022-10-06 13:20
I mean that is true in reality there is massive amounts of gate keeping in the tier 1 scene but that does also make them the best because they can regularly play against others that are the best but like I'd say Smooya's team could beat any of the EG rosters and they may be allowed to just come back to competing at tier 1 events same for MIBR when in reality they should just be dead and gone.
2022-10-06 13:15
ASStralis and fnatick is not t1... they are t2 team with inflated ranking... dont gert it twisted
