bullshit, no sane person says "we" about anything he isn't a part of. Just because someone is so shallow that he has to take pride in someone else's achievements, and say "we" when talking about his favourite football team, doesn't mean it's normal - it's not. When talking about community, sure, if you're a part of the community you can easily say "we". But if you're not a football player and you don't work in the club's management or smth then saying "we" is just fucking cringe and shallow, doesn't matter if we're talking about CS, football or any other sport.

...yes, the manager is part of the band's company, he is literally emplyed by the band, he has input, he has influence, he is a part of the "team". A fan is just a fan - but certainly not a part of the team.
And what about it when Finland wins in hockey, are you part of the official representation team? If so, yeah, it is okay. If not, then no, your national team won, and you cheered for them, all good, but you and them can't be described as "we" like you're talking about it

That's exactly the shallowness that I was talking about. Also experiencing community and culture doesn't necessary mean taking pride in someone else's achievements, as in feeling a part of the team when you're clearly not, it can also mean ACTUAL cultural experiences, like learning languages, travelling, listening to music, watching art, learning history and customs of different cultures... but how would you know, right...? ;)

we are a part of the team, they benefit from us being there, and use their name for us aswell, for examples, the bees (brentford), also the #65 staetement might be the dumbest thing ive seen today, to simplify things for you, we use it in football, thats why some people use it in cs. Maybe experience sport outside of your screen and realise what a community is surrounding a club

Because if so, I will already answer to you: Because my family, friends and my life is here, so it's not as easy as "just move out", but I'm slowly getting ready for it, don't you worry. Although I still don't see the connection between me living in my country and fans thinking they're "a part of the team" just because they cheer for that particular team. Again, that's shallow AF.

Just giving you an example of a case (outside of sport) where many people - at least in English - would use "we" to refer to a group they aren't directly involved in. But I guess you can just call everything shallow and refer to its "stupidness" as a counter-argument to everything. I don't personally use "we" in sport contexts, but it's far from something nonsensical, especially when it comes to the English language.
