This major is the first time that crowd cheating was such a rampant problem that the event organizers had to act. That's nuts especially because it's ESL
leaf and dapr both got tons of death threats. That's fucked up
The Brazilian fanbase feels very separated from the rest of the world's CS:GO fans it's always this "Them vs us" mentality.
You say anything negative about fallen in Gaules chat, you are dead. This pretty extreme community can not accept any criticism of their heroes
Now the spitting incident
The primary problem lies on an extreme minority of insane CS:GO fans. The average brazilian fan just loves Counter-strike and that's fine. But i think a big problem is Gaules. Having a massive community of players represented by a biased voice has driven the brazilian scene.

in my honest opinion this is related to racism/xenophobia, yes i said it. People hate brazillians for obvious reasons i shall not mention to not get banned. hltv users wait for a single Brazilian mistake to make it seem like it everyone does that and it was the worst thing that has ever happened and no other could do the same..
I think this is a cultural barrier, most brazilians don't have any connection with Europeans or Americans because it is obvious that our education is not up to the par with europe, so it is a very small minority who know English and can feel part of a global community of CS.
I know it is a lot to ask, but things like cadian is doing is what is necessary to lessen the gap between Brazil and europe
