Not a pet owner but had this happen to people in my family, it's truly heartbreaking. R.I.P.
RIP to your dog and all Pets that ever have passed away
i have 2 cats and cant imagine how live would be without them
Rip, its always devastating when a pet dies
fuck man. This really make me sad. I love dogs. Hope you manage OK. Losing your main dog is like losing your best friend. I have more sympathy with you than 99% of all humans on this globe.
If you get too depressed, buy a new dog. Honestly, just do it. Your brain will say no, dont replace him.. But it will heal you. Good luck and hope your dog find dog heave <3
REST IN PEACE DOGGO, NO WORSE FEELING IN THE WORLD THAN LOSING A DOG (THAT IVE EXPERIENCED.)
CHIN UP MY BOY!
I didn't know pets can get cancer treatments too, damn.
R.I.P sometimes it's just their time, we did tests with my dog, and one day after 16 years when I was visiting home, she died in my arms 5 minutes after I showed up. Remember the memories!
Gonna take my parrot for a checkup next week, thanks man and sorry for your loss
1year and 6 months ago my 18yo cat passed away. Now I have 1.7 year cat already, its main-coon. She jump from 5th floor when she was running in my room like a tasmanian devil. She just got on the mosquito mesh and fell down. We immidietly went for medical-chek up. Her bones were not broken and no blood bleeding inside. She's so lucky. She lost only 2 tooth from left side like two fangs.
Mine died two days ago. Both of his kidneys started failing in september and there was nothing I could do to save him. It was all about delaying the inevitable until it happened on a whim. My sister has been crying non stop since.
Something similar happened to my kitten, but luckily everything ended well.
She stopped eating and started losing a lot of weight, after a while we found out that she had bowel cancer.
We had to put in a tube to feed and medicate her, and she had surgery to remove the cancer, and is now undergoing chemotherapy.
Thank God everything went well, but the night before the surgery she stopped moving. We had to manually take her into the litter box. If it had been days later, she would no longer be alive.
Take care of your pets!
Always sucks to lose a pet, i also went through the same thing back in May, lost my dog after 16 years together with him. He was starting to get a bit sick, was turning blind and deaf, but fortunately he didn't suffer, he died peacufully in his sleep.
He lived a full and happy life, got lost so many times, but always came back after a day or two, all dirty but always wagging his tail, we didn't even have to look for him, we knew he would come back and always did, loved car rides, and the first "person" to ever go on a car ride with me after getting my driver's license was him.
I'm sure yours lived a very happy life aswell, and one thing that helped me get past his death was remembering the good times i spent with him, and looking back and seeing that i did my job as an owner by being able to give him the best life one could possibly have, and i'm sure you did that for your buddy aswell.
Rest in peace doggy.
But stay strong man, don't blame your self so much, you probably were a good owner and he/she enjoyed every second with you.
Don't go to depression, just change your Mindset, every life comes to an end, be happy that he/she existed :)
RIP, my family's dog of 13,5 years had to be put down about 3 months ago since she also got cancer and was too old for surgeries or anything like that to make sense. It's always tough to lose a pet but remember to be happy that your dog got to live a long and a happy life since I'm sure you took good care of it.
sorry for your loss
good boy went to heaven
Sorry for yor loss. Rest In Peace
I remember growing up with a dog before he sadly passed away at 13.
so sad :(
I remember see my friends dog die suddenly when i was at his house
dont know how it feels to lose someone, but rip to your dog :(
12 year old dog that got sick...
going to the doctor to force an old dog to live longer is the most selfish thing one can do, pet doctors are not like human doctors, in 99% of cases the pet will eat tonnes of medicine and be in pain every day and you are selfishly just forcing it to endure the pain so that you can be "happy"...
If it was a sort of medium/large dog 12 years old is quite average, just remember the good times you had together, but yeah its super hard :(
Sorry for your loss. And your dog is in the best place- dog heaven :)
RIP. Sorry for your loss bro. I too own a dog.
Im sorry for your loss brother
May God comfort you, my brother, and may him be with Him.
sorry for your loss bro :((
I'm sorry for your loss. dogs have beautiful souls.
"Some people dont do even their medical tests... please just please do reguralry all of you pet's medical tests and yours too"
I want to add a disclaimer to this for people who don't understand the medical system. most medical tests are terrible and wont detect a problem with you unless you're on the verge of death. doctors are not like House, they will not figure out your problem if it's rare or doesn't show up on a normal blood test. the best thing you can do for yourself is to regularly exercise and eat whole foods.
Our dog died today, feels not good mens((
stay strong. know that feeling very well because i had xyz dogs(99% of them from shelter, older dogs that noone wanted) so a lot of my dogs passed away but it always makes me cry
RIP. What was his name? Im sure he was a good boi..
I cant imagine losing my dog, hes like 14 or 15yo cant even remember anymore
12 years is pretty good tho
I still haven't gotten out of the habit of calling for my dead dog's name whenever I play with my family's dog
Sorry for your loss, pets really are a part of the family, and losing them is devastating :(
