Gaining weight is definitely easier, the US can attest to that. You'll have nothing to gain by putting on that much weight and losing it UNLESS you plan to be working out during the process, in which case what you'll be doing is called dirty bulking (eating total garbage to put on weight and muscle, then working it off to preserve the muscle and get rid of the fat)

You can keep it economical, but there won't be much variety in that case. You can look up really calorie dense recipes. You'll probably want to eat like ~7000 kcal a day, but I would ease into it if you can

Easier said than done. It really depends on how fast your metabolism is. Ive been between 50-60 kg my entire life even tho i eat 6 times a day, i simply dont gain any fat, only some muscles if i lift a lot. But if i dont eat much for a few days i easily lose a few kg. And its the same for my entire family

dude the gaining and losing of weight is extremely simple. Your body burns a certain amount of calories a day. A number you've probably heard before is 2,000. Everyone burns a different amount of calories due to many different factors for example size of the person and metabolism. So lets say your body burns 2,000 calories a day and one day you eat 1,800. You will lose weight that day because you consumed less calories than you burned. If your body burns 2,000 calories in a day and you eat 2,200 then you will gain weight. You must have been eating less than you burn. If you want to gain weight then eat more than you burn, that simple.

This is practically true but i think when you have a high BMR you can still eat a lot and just not gain any weight. I'm on a bike for maybe 100km a week have high BMR and even if i eat a lot of bad food i will gain zero fat. For some people it's just very difficult and expensive to gain weight so it's not worth it.

Yeah but the bmr and exercise burns calories meaning that your daily requirement is probably more like 2,500 or higher. Same formula but just on a different scale.

you must have been in a calory deficit, even one as little as 100 calories can lead to losing half a stone in 9 months (pro tip: 1kg of fat is 7700 calories, so if you are in a 550 deficit everyday, you lose 1kg in 2 weeks)

When bulking I used to have smoothies for breakfast. They were a cheat code since I hardly can eat anything in the morning before i've been awake for like 2 hours. I used to put some whole milk(If you dont like the taste switch it to something else), peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, yogurt, and some protein powder/mass gainer. You could easily get a ton of okayish calories from that. Other tip would be to do some exercise daily unless you have a physical job. Even walking makes myself feel hungry so do something small + eat regularly. If you want to go dirty just eat a lot of trash food :D i've tried that aswell and it worked

When I started bulking, I was looking jabbi and stavn. In the First month I ate 4k kcal daily and upped it to 4,25k in the second month. Started with 65kg, was around 78kg after month 2. Now doing fitness since 1 year and I am 84kg and feel super good with that! Wish u the best of luck :)

Eating that many kcals or gaining that much weight in a few months? I was surprised about how fast I was gaining weight myself, since even after 1 month of sports pretty much everyone I knew was telling me I look way healthier etc. I think my body was in a "emergency mode" for many years being so slim and as soon as he got the chance to start putting on some weight he happily took it :D Edit: really nice flair, csgolounge was bestest my brother

its pretty easy, u need to eat 1g of protein for each pound of your body. convert it to kg if u want so 1 g protein for each half kg. eating a lot of meat and protein shakes did the trick for me

My formula: 1.5 Banana 2.5 Cup Milk 10 Tbsp Peanut Butter Blend This makes a 32 oz shake. 1300 Calories, 55g Protein. However, this is only cheap for me because I steal the milk and bananas from my school cafeteria. Otherwise the milk would get a bit expensive drinking these daily.
