What makes you think that so called competition is much better now. Only faze was a real improvement, all other "superteams created to dethrone navi" turned to be a complete disaster
Saying that it's "blatantly untrue" doesn't prove anything, you know. Teams are a bit better, but it's not such a big difference that could seriously impact navi

Now navi is full tilt with bad chemistry. We don’t know if they would have kept dominating if the roster hadn’t changed but what’s for sure is they had found a great rhythm and great roles and now everything is different and it’s hard.

What competition? G2 was a complete failure. Vitality was a semi-failure and would've been a complete failure if they hadn't won EPL. The other team that was upgraded to challenge NAVI was FaZe and while FaZe was a top team, NAVI was a top team and was always there challenging. The rest, nothing.
NAVI imploded. The war, boombl4, and now blatant underperformance. It has nothing to do with competition. NAVI has no map pool and that massive firepower is no longer there. Making electronic IGL was a massive mistake and the Blast win clouded that. I do not blame sdy at all for any of this. But he simply isn't what NAVI needs and therefore has to go. b1t is the other one that has to get his head out of the gutter. The supposedly third star of the team in the red on the CT side. And post-break, s1mple hasn't been there either. Post-break, NAVI went 0/3 in terms of star players. It is what it is.

Just a bit better? Seriously. Did you see the numbers s1mple, electronic and b1t put up last year? If you think those numbers have now fallen off a cliff because of "competition" then might as well stop talking.
This is NAVI's star trio during the first half of the season with the same level of competition:

A couple months later and none of them are close to those numbers. NAVI lost their IGL and one of their star players had to take the role. FaZe dominated, NAVI was still up there. Current NAVI was not "just a bit better", they were miles better. Even the map pool is nowhere near 2021's.

they put those numbers cuz OTHER TEAM ALLOWED THEM TO DO IT (covid, online period, dead teams etc - the weakest competition period in cs history aknowledged by everyone, including casters). This year other teams DONT ALLOW navi to play good enough. Its like me playing vs 10 year old kids - i will put insane stats, trust me.

Yes that's a fair statement and I agree, so idk why you decided to spew random shit like saying that their bad performance is not at all due to other teams being more competitive, when it is to some extent at least. But imagine for a sec that faze and other teams this year weren't quite as good, then navi might've won cologne or other events like the antwerp major, even with the war and sdy and role changes - they were very close to winning these events and lost narrowly. So clearly the competition is part of it and their team struggles are part of it.

oh yeah major where navi played against all dead teams and struggled against G2 in finals where Amanek was awping (!). And in 2022 where number of dead teams goes down immensly and full lan came back suddenly navi stopped winning. Go to the statistics and check when the team decline started and when the invasion begun... you'll might find some "coincidence" there.
