thats true but he reached playoffs had abysmal rating in playoffs but still had a better overall rating , even after fall finals his lan top20 is still same so idk how he can drop off even if navi has a 7-8th finish in worlds final

Zywho stats are mostly from group stages so they doesn't count so much. And no matter how bad Navi plays they reached almost everytime the playoffs.

probably impossible, unless navi gets lastplace at world finals and s1mple plays like t3 and vitality win the whole thing with zywoo being 2.xx every match. otherwise it wont happen i think. this year was weird man, everyone was bad compared to last year

I see it different, everybody appart from top 5 -10 players, stepped up their game and tactic by a huge margin, for ex if before s1mple/zywoo would win 9/10 duels vs fame/tesses, now itz an easy flip coin 50-50%, i think top players kinda relaxed too much and the whole t1 stage catching up with them , faze 0-3, nip 0-3, g2/astralis not even in major, vitality looked horrible at the major i think we can def find more examples

he's been playing bad, blast world final determines top 1 which is actually pretty interesting, zywoo and s1mple play okay/bad/good, or s1mple plays better s1mple top 1 zywoo carrys or gets mvp and s1mple either plays okay or bad zywoo top 1

No it doesnt, that would've been the case if vitality managed to reach playoffs in the major, but since they failed, zywoos chance of getting #1 is practically nonexistent.

It's not lol S1mple atm has like 0.03 rating advantage, 1 MVP and they are both gonna be playing on world final. If zywoo will go godlike and vitality wins it somehow or get far at least, he can win it. And I doub't navi will do good there cuz they will be playing with both sdy and nipl.

It's possible, but still, zywoo missed both Major playoffs, when s1mple had both Vitality also skipped epl 15, Colonge and Katowice playoffs, it feels like Zywoo just doesn't have enough big matches to become top1

Yes he will be top 1 it's locked in but this will be his least convincing number 1 out of his 3 by far. He is dropping in form and NaVi does not help him either. Fortunately for him ZywOo also underperformed a lot this year for his standards and no one was good enough otherwise. This just tells how dominant he is at his best and how far away from the competition he can be when he is at his peak, because he seems so unsually bad now (for his standards) but is still the best for the whole year.
