Kicking s1mple is ill-advised. His attitude aside, he is still one of the best players on the planet and simply removing him based upon emotional issues is not good for Na'Vi.

this is probably the closest someone came to explaining what the issue with navi is, at least that i've seen on hltv. i think some of it was expected and that's why i said navi's era is probably not going to happen when the war broke out. if you factor in the war, losing an igl and having to restructure a team that was previously dominating the scene and on a brink of an era, and s1mple being an emotional player all of it makes perfect sense. all that work in the last few years regarding his attitude came undone. to me it looks like a start of a downward spiral and i'd be surprised if he managed to recover. and yeah, i think you are right. he needs a break and probably therapy. we already lost device. it would be a shame if we lose s1mple too.

Tbh I don t understand why the f Blade put him next to sdy ..put somebody else next to sdy and simple on the other side of the table...and why would Blade make Bit play some positions if last year he was so good in those...Yes simple is pretty toxic now...but come on sdy is a complete bot...even I have better decision making than him....it s pretty hard to watch him play ...

No s1mple can be toxic but they need a real IGL

Coach Blade is part of the problem with his statements/interviews where he kinda talks down on people aswell as coming across very arrogant. He creates and/or allows at least this toxic environment and possibly even contributes to it. I had great respect for him as an IGL back in the day who lacked individual level but could command a team of parts into something decent (top20-ish) and suprise with tactical ideas, but his showing as a coach/person lately are very disappointing. It will be hard for ANY player coming into this s1mple/Blade combo, because they are untouchable in their own minds, which they surely arent. Time is running up and there is no new NaVi era coming in these competitive times. Better learn to manage your expectations. The fall will be hard.

atp it's not enough to have the best players in the world to win games. you need really good synergy and ideas, and currently navi dont have either of those. s1mple is probably a hard person to gel with rn, considering what sdy is going through, and it just sucks for all parties involved (particularily sdy who's getting yelled at during matches). s1mple just needs to grow up, he might be a top player in the world but mentally he's still a toxic 16 year old who blames anyone but himself if he loses

lol come one, why is cs community the biggest snowflakes for real. They are doing their job. They are not playing with their friends and "malding" or being "toxic", They want to be the best in the world. Its not just few friends playing pubs. If you compare to other sports cs havent shown us anything yet. Start talking when someone hits his teammate during the game or even starts fighting with words hard.

He just degraded after summers' break. Because of complex of reasons i suppose. Unfortunately he did not become wiser with age.

I agree that his behavior was way out of league. It reminds me of coldzera blaming showtime for bad results when he was standin. A standin probably has the lowest confidence within the team, especially in SDY's situation where he is fighting an uphill battle for a contract. Ripping the last remains of that confidence away from him is a very bad move IMO. It's not all about your personal stats, but also how your playstyle and personality affects your teammates. This is why I think Zywoo is a better overall player than s1mple. In the 90's, Manchester United had a toxic bully within their team called Roy Keane. Their manager, Alex Ferguson saw a crazy solution to this problem: He made him captain of the team. His behavior changed. He spent all his energy winding up teammates, instead of blaming them in improper ways, at improper times. Maybe s1mple needs to become IGL, as then he will be forced into improving his personality ingame, or the entire team will suffer greatly. It may seem as a risk, but something drastic needs to happen, he is ruining his own career with his approach.

I'm sick of him, sick of every stream talking him up like he's walking on water all the time. I understand it's their job to hype shit up. I've always hated the kid, but I had to respect him getting his major... I thought he had matured. But no. There's an old saying.. anyone can steer the ship when the sea is calm. Couple of waves and he starts trying to murder his own crew.
