I speak Swedish at a decent level so if I get super stuck I have that, also most of Norway speak English. If I had an option to move to any country it would be Canada or Australia but this is the option given to me and I'm taking it.

Also, OP has not provided much context, whether he wants to move permanently or not, if he wants to study it or not (if he moves to Oslo/Bergen, I guess he might get by without learning Norwegian)

Soon as Canada get rid of that authoritarian Prime-Minister then that country will be better. Majority need to just wake up. Canadians have very similar culture and way of acting to the British, so would make sense.

Unless you're extremely rich and live in a nice area then there is literally nothing in the UK for the average citizen anymore, some people cannot afford to have their heating or electricity running because the government simply do not care. Even walking outside wearing something nice can get you killed now.

yeah, it made an impact the fact we got Boric (leftist) as a president, but i think it's in majority for outside factors. The cost of life is going up for months (now it's slower, but the damage has already been made)
Everyone from every western country thinks the same about their own country. 99% of countries are facing the same problem. I know people that have moved from UK to Canada and other countries and end up coming back because It's the same. The only time when you should move is if you're insanely rich or you're settled down, have family, work set up etc.

With world events recently its easy to watch the news and think everythings dire, but then you look at the material impacts on your own way of life and its very minimal. Calling it the cost of living crisis is very emotive, what we’re faced with is inflation.
My energy bills have gone up £100 per month, £66 of the increase is currently subsided by the government. Rent and expenses are up. Ultimately though, still getting on with my career, able to see friends and family (unlike pandemic) life goes on you know.

Thats because you have a good living situation i make 85,000$ a year things havent changed too much other than paying extra for gas, food, and other consumable items but for people with families or just people that dont have a comfortable wage theyre literally just fucked and that shit aint cool

i mean.. all your family is there, all your culture, all the foods that you probably like and all your entire life was there.
Its because this that you never see so much immigrants from good countrys, you don't need to leave your country and live the rest of your life like a immigrant and being treat like a stranger in other people country home if your motherland is a good place. At least you don't be worried all the time for just use your cellphone on a public local in UK.

90% of Norwegians speak very good/fluent English so I think I'll be okay.

Been here for a while, but recently its getting extremly expensive to live in London, even tho I get paid really well, I feel I am wasting so much money at the moment being here. I also just can't get over the weather and always being grey with barely any sun. Might be time for me to think about my life choices.

Norway is good if you have a family and you just want a quiet life. Other than that its a really boring country in general for a young lad especially compared to UK i mean night life and the people. but if you are a big introvert then you will fit in as 80% of the population in norway are massive introverts. if you are moving australia is the right place
