That itself proves we were fine, the only thing that happened is that you guys refused to come support your team.
Next time just come to Brazil to cheer for your team or don't complain about having a whole crowd cheering for only one team being super loud, easy and simple as that, don't expect something that you guys wouldn't do yourselves because nobody goes loud for all teams, the thing is that in EU you have a mix of people cheering for all teams while here we had an entire crowd cheering for furia only.

People just simply don't want to go to Brazil from EU, it's far away and not that good of a country for tourism.

I actually made a thread earlier (deleted for some reason) where I was defending you guys and saying that the biggest problem with the crowd was that it was so one-dimensional since everyone was from the same country and not that there is something necessarily wrong with Brazilians. Not blaming you guys, just saying how it is. People don't want to go all the way to Brazil for a CSGO tournament.
What r u talking about, if this final was fluxo vs OG the crowd would be empty too. There are danes on both sides, obviously the crowd will be bigger than other matches.

It wouldn't be empty, we just saw on the Elisa Masters Espoo that people do show up even if the teams are not the favorites. Obviously most of the crowd in Espoo was hoping for Ence or Havu to win since they are Finnish orgs but it doesn't mean people don't show up when they already paid for the tickets and they wanted to show the rest of the world that Finland is a good place to host events in the future since it was our first really big event (like Rio major was first major for you guys).
Yes the crowd would be a little worse if it was for example OG vs Fluxo but it wouldn't be empty and I'm pretty sure people would still cheer for great plays when in Rio crowd didn't cheer great plays if it wasn't done by a Brazilian team or one of the favorite players.
At least someone telling facts.
Yes, EU/NA guys just don't came to Brazil because its to far (and because the crime rate) and not for any reasons that they just create.
And with that, its much more easily to hate the tournament, and beg ESL to come back to europe, who is probably 80% HLTV users house.

probably doesn't help that all the SA teams other than Furia straight-up bombed out, just to make the contrast even bigger, so there was almost no cheering at the playoffs at the end of the day

no shit, we were expecting you guys to say it even before it started, if it's too loud we're cheating, it's quiet it's library, no matter what we did u spoiled kids would still think it was the worst, but actually what matters the most is that the event sold like bananas and ESL is already confirmed to come again, and it seems like that's just the beginning
