Problem with WoW is that you can't know if an expansion will be good until at least halfway through. Shadowlands was fun at first, then they content-drought'd x.1 patch for the longest in the entire history of the game, and really ended up following it up with nothing. I played 4 WoW expansions and only had luck of the draw on one of them, so I just don't give a shit anymore. Those just aren't good odds.

its not about expansions, its about game being subpar of what it was before, you go into open world you see nobody, no reason to be there, everything is meaningless, even classes are, not unique except few little things like appearance. SL was a disaster, record breaking player count drop, they indeed worked on things which they failed miserably in SL, such as talent tree, but added new idiotic ideas such as flying mount marketed as "new feature", they already flopped idea of a new class nobody asked for, nobody is excited to play chicken on soy. let alone that game looks disgusting, for 6 olds while having most mature audience possible, those boomers will find their MMO soon, many projects in development.

Absolutely the same situation. And I don't even know if I want to start playing df, because I'll be done in less than three weeks anyway. Perhaps the time gate is to blame for everything. And the fact that there are practically no friends left playing wow.

I play 3.5.5a on a private server. This is the last patch of the game we knew. Anything past that is just shit. Played cata and partially mop on retail - LMAO. I was considering playing classic but they removed RDF - I don't have time anymore to find groups, travel to the dungeon for an hour and be stuck there with couple of retards who don't know how to play. Plus there's literally no support from blizz on classic, just milking money on a once good game. I sometimes watch streams from retail, holy shit. The game is so bad.
