I think he was bitten by a spider, while he was in a nuclear explosion in outer space, testing gamma-rays on himself. I know that soon after the above, he was seen in a phonebooth changing clothes and then heading back to a mysterious cave meeting up with a dude named Professor X.

I think he was an analyst back in 2014 even, sitting on the desk at majors. It's crazy how he seems to have been mediocre for 6 or so years until joining heroic and not just becoming a massive IGL but 1.10 rating at the same time in top 5 CS. Maybe just grinding and getting better?

Its a classic redemption story. Started his career. Got left out. chose an alternate career (analyst). hated it. Decided to come back. no one wanted him. joined an org. got better. hungry for success. was under the shadows of the great. felt inferior. Cheated to defeat the great. got caught. felt shitty. Started working harder. Got better. than even better. wanted to prove. kept improving. almost won the elusive trophy but lost. got hungrier to win. won in front of home crowd. got his well deserved love. Sure, he lost his way trying to beat Astralis. being always the ignored 2nd child infront of the elder olden boy must have been hard. But after Hunden he has been working hard. I always called CadiaN a slow starter. If he gets going he was a threat, if you dont let him warm up, heroic was a weak team. but this time around he was crisp from the start. Team might lag at one point but CadiaN was hitting his shot 8/10 times (previously it was 2/10 if he was cold, 5/10 if he was hot). He did what any player who wants to win does. He trained harder and got better. I think Xizt also improved his calling. He uses change of pace quite frequently compared to other IGLs.

I still don't get how Heroic win versus all this teams.

All of the heroic players seem very smart and communicative, especially stavn, sjuush and cadian himself obviously imo. They prolly do alot of theory crafting together and discussing certain situations. I guess he also did that with hunden in the past. This kind of stuff just gives u intuition and a certain set of options u see in every situation, when you have all information available and ingame communication is flowing

As a Vitality fan, I feel cadiaN has always been a great IGL. They always out-strat Vitality.

Quality players around him + smashing out hours and hours every day when other teams are constantly messing about with lineups = success.

In some of his previous teams you could see his potential. If you ask me he was close to making rogue into an amazing team but they just didn’t last long enough to see it come true. And rogue did not look that good on paper considering they had a washed up hiko on the team
