I would remove hooxi, JKS and bring in some good talent from tier2 to be frank..
What if they win the blast world finals and everything goes right with this roster in next year ?? (For me it won't happen)

Long project with core member took over superstar team these days the kinda viable superstar team is Faze but even Faze is long time together now and even Ropz / karrigan had relationship, you can’t move Jame cause he just like his team. I think it’s same for chopper, Nafany, cadian. A new project can look better on paper but can they speak together and move forward ? In outsiders they can surely, Major showed that any team that can really figure out issues instead of kicking players will be better

Also, Faze wasn't really built with superstar players. It was mostly built from players who were solid on good teams or the best players from T2. Ropz was probably the closest they had to a star pickup, and even then, he's still early career and had already worked with karrigan. They prioritized people with low ego and good synergy
Why would they poach Aleksi, why would Aleksi go back and why would Jame ever leave VP lineup with significantly more potential?
G2 doesn't know what they want, they have had nexa that lets them do whatever but it wasn't enough to win, they had Aleksi who wanted them to play structured and strategic and they couldn't be bothered trying it properly and they have had HooXi who tried some bastardised combination of both that is absolutely dogshit
Not a single active IGL can fix this they need to poach some young guy like siuhy and pray he can adapt to some weird style that can be adapted on NiKo/huNter's whim
Either that or they keep one of either NiKo/huNter, m0nesy and bench the rest and rebuild fully around m0nesy with players that actually make sense and haven't been washed/washing for the past year or so

I dont think the organization likes burning money all the time on players that dont deliver. There is no way of knowing which players will be good and which will be bad.

I think they have invested in good players several times but somehow, they still dont win and I dont know why. My best guess would be that personalities in the team dont work.

niko wont win anything with his 2019 meta.
the different between heroic and g2 is that heroic is building team around awper and IGL Cadian unlike G2 where they build around players and not IGL.
IGL needs player which fit his playstyle and players that IGL personally wants in the team.
Hooxi is forced to adapt and speak english too
+glaive instead of hooxi would be a perfect fit for them, but impossible to happen.

don t think so.Gla1ve is a systematic/very tactical igl and g2 is definitely not made for that, i mean he isn t as "stuborn" or tactical as aleksi wants to be but still...They need a nexa type, someone who can have good reads and not very complicated tactics, someone who can let them play freely and be a decent fragger as well.

+ bring amanek back to IGL- NiKo is notorious for not working well with people he isn't best mates with. He knows amanek. amanek has also been playing well in falcons.
that leaves one sport for a really strong lurker/anchor.
possible:
+ refrezh - good performance in sprouts during major & solid anchor player
+ XANTARES - possibility if he tries to join an international team like woxic
+ k0nflict - also a possibility, but very unlikely due to already bad press surrounding G2.
another option would be academy players; but I doubt G2 will, I don't think NiKo would want that.

Everything is a gamble for this G2 roster. And if they gambled on JKS who is an established player why wouldn't they gamble on some academy player.

With hooxi the chance is 0%. No way they pass a qualifier, a chsllenger, a legend and playoff stages. Monesi, hunter and niko can only frag for 2 players for 2-3 games.
Hooxi will have maps with <5 kills, jks is useless on t sides and mediocre in ct side.
No hope in g2 until they remove hooxi, there is no hope for them winning anything.

I think no matter what happen in Blast World Final G2 will stick the roster at least for 3-4 more tourments they have only played 3 tournments together, 4 with rmr, so its too soon to change the roster again, and the map pool will change following the new update. Dust 2 was one of the most picked maps by G2, so will they add anubis to their playbook, or will change for overpass (their permanent ban), or will they play it but have other map like ancient or nuke as the instant pick. Mirage doesnt look great too so.
I think this will take time for them to discuss, and adapt to -dust 2 and m4 coming back balanced.
Hooxi and Monesy are the problem in this team. Monesy is too inconsistent, while Hooxi can't frag in Tier 1.
if they dont show anything until the blast major. then we can talk about changes. this g2 haven't even played with each other for half a year yet.
m0nesy is only getting better and better. they have only played a few tournaments so far, and has shown their ceiling is high (EPL 10-0 run), and their floor (RMR).
To me the problem is obvious: consistency. You will not win tournaments when you are as inconsistent as G2. Think about it, how many times has G2 impressed and then suddenly in semis or grand finals shat the bed?
This has been used a lot as an excuse before, but this time its not a silly excuse, its a fact. G2 needs more time to fix their consistency. Roster moves doesn’t do that

for g2 i would leave it as is so they can build more chemistry, I feel like they can come out as a top 3 team if they don't make another roster change.

With the behind the scenes rumours of Hunter in game leading, give NiKo and Hunter the reins and if it fails fire them both as they've had the most influence in the team since NiKo joined.

G2 is dysfunctional on so many levels its hard to even think of a fix.
1. m0nesy needs a stable environment to keep developing, he's their best signing so far
2. niko and hunter often comm in their native language, makes it look like a duo secluded from the actual team, hunter has never been the same player since he teamed up with niko even having jackz as meatshield
3. jks is way too overrated in terms of his actual firepower and must have lost a lot of confidence playing shittest roles in col already and barely breaking 1.0
4. hooxi doesnt seem like a strong leader whos capable of handling a team like g2 nor he can frag
