if you want a war game with a good story go for spec ops the line
its 2012 so its aging a bit but the story is fantastic
its also stupidly cheap these days
unless you absolutely need it to be an fps
then black ops 1 is also great and mw1-3 are pretty good as well

The last tiger is the best campaign between V and I
I have seen all the battlefield v campaigns, and I play battlefield 1’s like 800 times, for what I see bt1 is more epic in general except the last tiger of btfv which is pure gold. In terms of replaying the campaign I think the v ones are better because you have more options of passing the objectives, like I remenber one in the Africa campeing that you could take a Stuka from and airfield or passed it normal. Also from what I have felt in the btf 1 in hard mode it wasn’t hard for me to passed, btf v I don’t play it so I don’t know about the difficulty. Btw if you want a story game meaby battlefield is not the best option, n
But yesterday i saw the btf v was for 4’60 € and the btf1 was for same price 2 weeks ago (don’t know if is still with that price)
bf4 > bf1 > bfV.. nowadays i would play bf1 tho
