Maps should just be rotated every year/half year. Create a larger map pool which consists of at least 10-12 maps and change the 7 active map pool every year/half year - take one out and bring another in and the one that has been taken out can be added only when the other ones that were out of the active map pool have rotated in the active pool. There are already 12 playable maps: Dust2, Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, Overpass, Vertigo, Ancient, Cache, Train, Anubis, Cobblestone, Tuscan. Just rotate these maps in 7's and do updates on the maps that are inactive at the current time and then add it back again in the pool when it's updated. This way everyone will know all the maps but there still will be change since the active maps will change and never be the same 7 ones.

+1 Another idea: Just have a bigger map pool all the time. Just have 9 or 11 maps in the pool and some extra veto rounds when the teams veto/pick the maps. BO3 or BO5 would still work but there would be more options. Or do you think this would be too much for players to handle all the maps and might result in fluke wins for smaller teams that focus on specific maps?

We need a healthy mix of new, fresh maps and old, trusted maps. The mix atm with Vertigo, Anubis, Ancient as new and Mirage, Inferno, Nuke and Overpass as old and trusted works really well.

If you want a fun game just get rid of cheaters. Link accounts to personal ID cards just like banking/crypto apps. This is a billion dollar industry run by noobs that know nothing about law and jurisdiction. IP Ban and sue each and every cheater banned. We don't need perfect anti-cheats, we need people to understand that if they cheat, there will be severe personal consequences for their actions. This industry grew up to be much more than just "games", it's time we start treating it that way. Also, bring mid-game voice chats back, now that's fun!

Definitely drop Mirage. I stopped playing Faceit for several reasons, but one was because I got Mirage like 80% of the time and Inferno 15% with the others in the remaining 5%.
