Contrary to the topic of OVERRATED FILM? I wanna know your favourite movies
My favourite ones are generally ones with a historical setting, like troy, gladiator, shawshank redemption, saving private ryan, LA Confidential and others
the ones that I think are extremely overrated are the marvel movies but thats just my opinion :)

I really like most of what you've got on your list. My list might go a bit broader and include a few more non-action-oriented classics like:
- The Sound of Music
- La La Land
- Vertigo
- Rear Window
- Ben Hur
- It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
- Ford vs Ferrari
- Saving Private Ryan
- 127 Hours
...etc. But generally it looks like we have pretty similar tastes

From that list, I've seen Vertigo, Rear Window, Ford vs Ferrari, and of course Saving Private Ryan. Liked all of them. I have other non-action that I like i.e Cast Away, Psycho, The Big Short, The Terminal. Some other war movies I like, Hacksaw Ridge or Enemy at the Gates but oh well, "favorites" so naturally a lot of action and thrillers. It was actually much harder picking top30-top50.

and devils advocate i found great in the first half but a bit goofy for me later in the film, although Pacino delivers an amazing performance.

I really don't watch movies much, or rewatch them often, so to speak of a minor few that at least stand out in my memory as being compelling in some wise, they would probably be: Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, the Machinist, and Shawshank Redemption.
There may even be better movies that I just can't remember because it was 15+ years ago since I stopped really giving a shit about film.
