in general blast events are very good, high paying, low tech timeoouts, casting is always very high quality and i like the way it looks kekw

the problem is that they never held or organized a big event like a major
their blast tournaments are generally smaller even compared to any esl events
so its probably going to be interesting to see how they will handle it
hopefully yea, like you said, they are very good and i expect the same thing for paris

It will be hosted by Perfect World , and organized in China .
Spunj said so while talking about Blast hosting the Major in Paris before it was official . So it's trustable .
But it's in doubt because China still takes the Rona very serious so it probably can get shifted to somewhere else in Asia .

It's 100% not happening in Asia, Perfect World are the most likely candidates to host but Valve have said no chance for an Asian major at this point.
Unless an Asian sponsor is going to pour a lot of money into making it happen, also unlikely considering at best 1 Asian team can make the major, and that Asian team is likely going to be Mongolian.

well i dont think that only one Asian representative being the case is somewhat going to affect the chance of hosting it in here, PW being a Chinese org themselves makes it more likely to arrange it in China and i can really see it going outside of the country if needed however , i have doubts over it going outside of the whole continent
i mean PW holding a Major in EU or NA dont make sense tbh , their out reach aint that far and wide.

It can't be hosted in Asia, Valve have guidelines on timezones for tournaments organizers who want to bid on majors.
The only acceptable time zones fall within NA and EU, so Asia, Australia etc are off-limits, nobody is going to attend a CS match at 3am which is needed to accommodate EU/NA viewers.

eh i know that timezones have always been a thing of concern when it comes to Majors but China or Asia as whole for that matter can be a bit more accommodating for EU and Americas compared to Australia. Also PW bidding for a Major makes no sense to me if they cant host it in China or at least in Asia , that what i am trying to say.

Prague doesnt have arenas big enough, maybe the O2 arena but in czech republic we have never hosted a tier1 csgo event so major as the first one is very unlikely
