peripherals, for example. you needed microsoft store to launch hyperx ngenuity 2 until like 2022? there's a lot of stuff that works as windows apps, actually. I was really sad that I couldn't even launch forza horizon game without this microsoft services shit. and after manually installing every service I got hit with my windows too old shit lmao. that was it, NO FOR LTSC. for me win11 looks too much like OSX now, theyve also removed and changed a lot of features and stuff for no real reason. stuff in like menus and what not. i havent played around with it too much, i guess they tried to dumb it down a lot and i dont like that
i also work in IT and we prolong win11 as much as possible to allow enough time for patches and other software to work with it

but seriously just go for it, it's better imo, but I always like to stay with the latest developments of OS's anyway. In my experience there are no bugs. There were at the start, obviously, and maybe there are still some, but nothing major. Also, I like to think most "bugs" are caused by users themselves, or at least easily solvable most of the time

right.. I was not aware of this problem.
But from what I read so far, this is mostly a 7000 series problem and is being worked on (which is to be expected, and will also be solved). As I have 5000 series CPU it makes sense I haven't experienced any problems.
As for the earlier "problems" (nvidia gpu and also amd cpu) from earlier this year, those already seemed to be fixed with the latest AMD chipset drivers and windows updates.
Anyway, I can't deny there are certain issues, but in my opinion, those will always be there, and in my experience these things usually get fixed relatively quick. Also, this was also always the case with previous iterations of windows. I come from a generation that used Windows 3.1, imagine solving problems then xD

Yes, win11 is great, and the upgrade takes like 20mins, 5min to figure out what to enable in BIOS. Turn off animations so UI is fast af, better performance, things crash way less.
