as FIFA is now considering penalty shootouts for group stage games, which means there cant be tie. would be cool to see group stage plays with swiss format. 2 groups with 16 teams each. unfortunately at the next world cup there will be 48 teams.
normal group stage - 48 games
swiss group stage - 66 games

probably because in next world cup there will be only 3 teams in group which can be messy.
for example:
spain vs senegal - 2:0
spain vs ghana - 2:0
ghana vs senegal - 0:0
ghana and senegal have same stats, so the one with like less yellow cards qualifies, thats stupid

tbf penalty shootouts are the most exiting parts of a professional football game to watch so I wouldn't be against it.
