EU is the equivalent of US, you get that right? US isn’t a specific country. EU isn’t either. Otherwise display your country then, eg Texas, Cali, whatever :) your argument counters yourself or doesn’t even work.

ehh... not to argue, but i'd beg to differ. the US is a single country divided into 50 states, plus a few territories. Each state has their own flag, but they still all fall under the country of the US. i couldn't pick my state flag bc it's not an option
the EU is a geopolitical region comprised of 27 sovereign countries, each with their own cultures, languages, etc.

Yes EU has more culture and languages because it has way more history. But other than that there is no big difference between how EU is managed compared to US. The literal goal of EU was to be more “US like”.

My argument isn't with your assessment of the US vs EU, just that you said the US isn't a country. I actually get irritated when I see someone bring up the size of an EU country's population vs. the US when talking about success because a more relevant comparison is obviously the size of EU vs. NA (and a number of other factors).
But technically speaking a Province is basically a State in European countries.
I'm not disagreeing with you so much as saying that you shouldn't double-down on what you initially said, because it's wrong in purely technical terms. Just say you meant NA and the context becomes accurate.

Whats your point? ppl being corrupt? if that's the point then the referee would have given a penalty with or without VAR, at least with VAR we can call them out.
The referees are the problem not VAR
Realistically you want to take the decision away from humans as much as possible and set as rigid rules as possible to ensure the best consistency of football so you would want VAR and instead of a lines man maybe something worm by all players that detects where they are and where the ball is and other players relative to where they are so you can get consistent off side rulings, more cameras to spot player on player action and something watching from the camera view to be able to see if someone dived or not and then call out a decision.

I think the VAR is too much in early access and it requires some upgrades like higher registrations and maybe panels on the stadium to improve certain things like offsides a little bit more of sensors and camera's close to the goalkeepers and striking area where actions is happening most of the time.

Its just being misused by bad refs.
saying this as someone who does not watch football or really any physical sports:
what's wrong with VAR? does't it just mean that "bad" calls are way less common and refs can apply the rules more consistently?
if you're upset by technicalities then I feel like that's either a skill issue/cry about it situation or its an issue with the technical rules of the game. in either case, hardly the fault of VAR itself

There are some things, like having to wait 5 minutes for them to decide something that's quite clear with one replay, or revising things backwards, breaks the momentum a lot, same with goals, that a lot of them you can't celebrate until the referee says it's ok one minute later.
Btw, I don't watch football anymore, but part of the football attraction is the passion and with the tech things you take it a bit away, tech is great and more fair, but they should find something more reliable and quick I think.

a leg/half body being offside wont actually change anything or give advantage to anyone, so many goals are getting disallowed because small parts of the body are offside, if the referees dont know if its offside or not by the eye test then it should be allowed

While I agree, don't you think the better solution could be a bigger marginal on when the Var is allowed to call the offside? Like for example only when the whole torso is ahead of defenders whole torso. To make var only undo referees blatant mistakes. I don't think it would be too extreme if line referees could call like usual but var had different rules.
I do agree that really dumb to allow clear offside attack to continue while waiting for var decision. Line referees could just be removed at this point if the rules are not changed.
