Dude, Polish team is literally composed of three solid players: Szczesny, Zielinski and Lewandowski. The rest look like headless chickens. Add a defensive playstyle and the fact that they are more scared to lose than they desire to win and you have a team that doesn't even get 40% possession: 36% against saudi, an absolute disgrace of 26% against argentina. Horrible passing efficiency too. I feel bad for their key trio.

I don't think it's only Lewandowski in Polish national team who has this problem. In my opinion we've got some really good players capable of interesting and offensive football (Lewandowski, Zieliński, Milik, Szymański, Frankowski, Kamiński). But for some fucked up reason we decide to play the worst and ugliest football possible. First problem is the coach - he's actually quite bad and has a very limited knowledge. We had Paulo Sousa before and - although our national team had some problems and the results were medicore - we played much more offensive and it was actually interesting to watch. But they sacked him and went with their corrupt friend. Second problem, in my opinion, has deep roots in Polish training system. Polish players - at least the vast majority of them - have quite weak mentality. They don't tend to fight till the end and are afraid to risk, despite having great skills. Weak knees, mom's spaghetti all the time. Let's be honest, looking at players only, Poland should be a strong favourite against both Arabia and Mexico and should at least give it a try against Aregintina. But we ended up as the worst team of the tournament toghether with Qatar Edit: I agree with you about Hades

He is just an incredibly effective predator near the opponents goal, in polands team midfield doesnt work at all. Polish players are paid for the results and they got it by qualifying to last 16.
