Ignoring the debate about whether apex is a good IGL. I think the issue with that move is you’d have 2 players in the active roster that get angry and upset when things go wrong. One is manageable but having almost the majority of the team tilting while you try and mount a comeback would be next to impossible to achieve with consistently.

I mean you have apex and dupreeh on the same team and they’re both tilters. That being said, I agree that apex and Niko shouldn’t be on a team together. Vitality have good support staff by the seems of things while Niko rejects anything of the kind like that so Niko apex would be way worse

If Hooxi doesn't make it work he will be kicked in 3-6 months, although it's worth noting that I think he WILL make it work, at least he can make G2 better than they are now, that's for sure. But if he won't, then I won't even be surprised if NiKo starts IGLing again and G2 take in some young gun to reach more firepower. It's entirely possible and, to be quite honest, I see a world in which it works, lol.

Of course I've seen other teams, and in some teams IGLs on the T side just go first and get traded anyway, and on CT they just bait for teammates in bait-and-switch setups. It's entirely possible to make it work.

I'm hoping not only hooxi, but also niko or hunter. Not because they are horrible or any others narratives. A player in an org has a deadline. Sometimes, the player need a new fresh start and I think niko and hunter need to play separately. I dont find niko + hunter as an effective duo. They don't play together in any bombsite. They play on both extremities. They are no real synergy and both need baiters around him. Both are crazy talented and have good game sense but together, nah, it's been to long and no sucess there. They are the last one of the whole g2 organization. Even the staff, the ceo and the coach have changed since they play together

I know, but it is a fail plan. Imo. It is a international team but the power is concentrated on one region. At some point, you have the right to doubt the players if the whole g2 is totally different except those two superstars.

I just think niko and hunter are too confortable together rn and the rest have leftovers except monesy. Everyone is adapting to them and not the opposite. I feel it is a bad mind set. Niko and hunter didn't win much. So, maybe, they are the ones who need to change a lot in order to win. "We need a solid anchor". But honestly, nobody can transitioned to more passive roles ? .The experienced guy should play some of those roles and bring a young talent to trader/star roles.
