Yes but not for the reasons you suggest, MM is harder in NA because its full of trolls and boosted accounts, the people that tryhard in NA are usually substantially worse than the people that tryhard in Northern Europe.
Is just that you'll rarely get a full server of 9 players+yourself of people trying to win in NA, whereas in Northern Europe, that's a lot more common.
Thus, if you only soloqueue and get to global in NA, you probably had to carry a FUCKTON of games to get there, whereas in Northern EU you didn't need to be as good to get to global because you always had actual teammates.
Also the amount of idiots the buy global elite accounts in NA is absolute insanity, idk why so many people do that in na, it's not that common in South America and definitely not that common in Northern Europe.

Having played in EU mm at Gold-Supreme l, out of the probably 40-60 games I played, only lost a few because the enemy team was actually good. I actually ranked up from gn2 all the way to LEM just by playing against EU players because it was so easy. Could ping have something to do with it? Probably. Still, even in NA we get 100+ ms SA players who I don't feel win substantially more than lower ping NA players. Also, being in California, I did much worse individually when playing EU because I was playing at 130+ ms most of the time. It was only my friends that were on the East most part of the country that were able to perform.

The ping may play a role, but the main point is that you werent left in a 1v3 nearly every T Round, think back of it, whether you entry fragged in the bombsites or you baited a little, you may have noticed that when you're on t side, it's a lot less common for you to enter the site, kill one guy, get traded, and then watch your entire team be in t spawn with 50 seconds left.
I don't know to what degree it is true that NA has better aimers than North EU in MM, CSGO used to have servers in Stockholm, Luxembourg, Paris and Berlin, when i played in EU from SA in 2017, i only played in Stockholm and Luxembourg servers, mind you, i had played for many years in U.S servers and even went from Silver 1 to LEM on U.S servers with 178ms ping, i didn't notice U.S Americans being better aimers than swedes, but maybe you played with Italians and Spaniards or Frenchmen, i have no experience there, or maybe its changed now.
And yes, Easern Europeans, specially Russians, once you're on the upper levels of play, are by far the best aimers in the world, despite getting memed by lower ranked people, they are on another level...

Trolls were by far the biggest in na issue last time i played, i think around 2020.
But they've changed severely, i dont know if the changes are better for adults, but they have certainly been better for the kids (im not making a moral judgement, just a neutral observation as i've been playing GO since 2014 and i only started playing on South American servers around 2016).

I mean it's easier to play as AMerican players are typically worse as (and this is my own opinion) because there is so much added stuff to your products and all sorts or crazy E and Z numbers in sweets it stops the development of your frontal lobes at an early age.
