Hi everyone, recently I have been interested in understanding how the cartels in Mexico became so big and managed to create a whole monopoly of drugs and weapons that benefits crime all over the world, as I was learning and watching documentaries, several recommendations from youtube about murder cases and torture videos started to appear on my timeline. I started to watch it because it would be useful to learn a little more about the behavior of this groups and how they act (basically a narrator describes what happens in those shootings, because this type of graphic content isn't allowed on the platform). While reading the comments I noticed the existence of these two groups of people, the first one is the group of people that don't have the courage to watch gore or violent videos in general, but like to learn more about their hidden context, and the second one is made up of people who like to consume this type of content, some of them share their experiences and claim that even though it is traumatizing content in some cases, it helps them to feel grateful for their lives and to be more cautious, avoiding unnecessary risks (to be honest, I don't think this a good excuse).
