he was good at execution blades Strats prob isnt gonna do well outside of navi and also knew how to control s1mple so good as a igl for navi bad for most teams so he isnt that great

Wouldn't be surprised if G2 bring him in for HooXi. People can argue back and forth over whether they think Boom was a good IGL or not, but what can't be debated is that Boom brought a lot of hype to the team in the server and was great for overall team vibes. Boom has more firepower than HooXi, and he can without a doubt fire up players like NiKo who have a history of tilting and could benefit from someone like Boom in the server. -- Random American

Yeah I think it's a 50/50. From the outside looking in, B1ad3 and Boom just seemed like a perfect fit for each other. Maybe he'll do fine without the B1ad3's system, or maybe not. Only time will tell.

People change with time though, and maybe he has opened his horizon and is willing to move for the time being. You never know what is going on inside someone else's mind. And I don't think the assumptions made towards Boom in regards to his time with NaVi is fair. Is there a good chance that B1ad3 came up with most of, if not all of the strats? Sure. But I still think Boom deserves a chance to prove himself on a top team without B1ad3 before we jump to conclusions on his IGL capabilities.

He probably is, but into tier2 team. Despite all the strong motivation words when joining Navi, he turns out not the type of guy who would selflessly grid for success. He just wants to continue career, keep making money. I can't blame him for that, totally normal.
