Kvitfjell, mostly Slalom on the regular tracks but I also tried the upper part of the 1994 Olympic track that wasn’t open and prepared yet and felt quite close to a completely “wild” track

in live in new jersey, ski the two lovely (dogshit) mountains in this state and ski a few trails in pennsylvania (Elk, Camelback, Shawnee) and vermont(Mount Snow(favorite), Stratton)
going to ski my first mountain up at lake placid in New York for the first time early next year dream is to go out to Colorado or Utah (have yet to experience a lot of powder skiing used to ice ): ) in the states and swiss alps and ski the tunnel run at Alpe D'Huez
if you ever come to the east coast of the US to ski, recommend Vermont 100% Every mountain there is the so fun from what i've heard and experienced. Only reason i go to mount snow is because it's one of the first mountains when you enter the state.

Yeah I heard that Vermont is a nice place to Ski, and New England is the part of the US that I would be most interested in visiting in general too, as I have some relatives in Upstate New York that I would like to visit at some point
Here I ski in the Haut-Doubs/Jura on the week-end since its pretty close to where i live and ski in Savoy on Winter break :D

I had to take a break from skiing for a few years so I don’t remember the exact prices, but if I recall correctly it wasn’t much cheaper in Austria (except for alcohol of course).
Only real issue is getting here first

These people will never understand the thrill of skiing, going to mountaintops and racing all the way down and then getting a nice warm drink.
With proper winter clothes you really shouldn’t get sweaty tbh, even when skiing or hiking

This was my first time skiing in Norway so I don’t have a ton of experience regarding the different areas, but I can definitely recommend the “Kvittfjell” area north of Lillehammer.
But December is way to early according to some locals I talked to, January has even better snow and all tracks and lifts are reliably open

I gotta be totally honest, one of the things I loved was how few people there were compared to the Alps, where the lifts are really crowded and you really need to watch out that you don’t get literally run over by other skiers

I just like the atmosphere when there are many people sitting outside with a cold beer after
I‘m gonna be at Åland Islands (not Norway I know) at eastern for climbing. Unlucky we don’t have enough space for ski equipment, but the trip is already perfect. Me and friends gonna climb some good boulders and sports routes and relax in a sauna afterwards.

I was forced to ski in high school (that was part of the course). Since those times I hate ski sorry

i've been to hafjell a couple of times, very enjoyable
skiing is so good, for me it is best winter sport! unfortunately, i havent skied for 2 years :(
for sure dont know how it is in Norway but i was in Sochi, Karelia and in my hometown beyond the Urals it was great :)
