Its a sarcastic response to a message i thought to be sarcastic due to being a response to a response of an obviously sarcastic comment.
My poor attempt of humour is reffering to the old legends about Rolls-Royces reliability which date back to the 1930s or so. I never thought that it would be an actual thing as I am a professional on that specific field and have an bachelors degree on mechanical engineering and my studies focused on cars.

I've had full AMD build for a decent time now and while one might think that it is (or was) a good price/performance ratio, the amount of shit I had to deal with because of their fucked up software and drivers is slowly making sure I won't touch AMD for a long time after this setup needs changing.

bro, stop crying in this post. are you an amd employee? I've used nvidia for the past 7 years, not a single problem. my cousin used amd for 5 years and he had several problems: drivers, amd software, broken fans, and a burnt HDMI port which broke his TV too, the plug melted and welded to the port

Had nvidia the last 15 years, lots of issues happened in those years, had amd the last 2 years no real irrelevant issues...
Most of my friends have NVIDIA and they obv had issues here and there too, do i know ppl who had AMD with issues yeah ofc...
Fyi its not AMDs fault that fans broke, hdmi broke or anything related to that... they didnt make any of it, whatever brand u bought from made it and even they arent responsible bcus the company who made those parts follow the specifications.
Is it NVIDIAS fault that ppl got their power ports melted? no..
Is it AMDs fault that ppl have 5000 programs or forgot to remove their old nvidia drivers or 1000 other weird things that can cause problems? no...
But isnt it funny that everytime nvidia has issues it has nothing to do with their shitty drivers but when ppl have issues with amd its the drivers :D funny coinsidense right?

No problem with their software is absolute nonsense. Do you read what problems AMD themselves acknowledge with each driver update?
What PC issues need fixing when I need to download Process Hacker to find out that their automated "AMD User Experience Program" is crashing PC [After disabling it suddenly works smooth] :) ? Or when you have multiple display setup fucked for no reason? Don't act like it's all fantastic.

I never wrote anywhere about Nvidia being perfect. But you guys just came here claiming that the user is a problem (to which I even agreed to certain extent) and AMD is absolutely fantastic, with 0 issues and other claims which are far from the truth. I don't care about any of the brands per se, I want my PC to work well it just happened that it's AMD build and most issues ARE software related.

Here's the easiest way to determine whether product is good or anti consumer. Go to youtube and find reputable tech channel that do PC performance benchmarks. Something like hardwareunboxed, gamer nexus or linus tech tips if you only want the big boys and decide. Don't believe some random HLTV users who are still stuck in 2015, they have the mindset of a caveman and only feed on something popular. That's why there're people who'll still buy 4080-4090 despite the scam nvdia tryna pull off.

Intel will be good competitor. They just released new drivers for their cards and it pumps the performance up significantly. I bet that second gen of their card will be good. Not great but good for average gamer.

we will se yes, but I'm confused why would they work on drivers for the first gen so hard. I'm quite blown away how they managed to boost the performance with just drivers.
AMD has done some progress on their driver side of things, it should be way better than before.
And to people who praise Nvidia drivers - Nvidia uses drivers to lock performance they sell in Quadro cards for 10x the price. Your card can do many things Quadro can - nvidia is just not letting it.
But thanks to smart people, we can fix that and edit that driver enough to enable it.
Example, nvenc endoding. nvidia hardcore limits it on any consumer cards even if they use same chips are quadros. Your Nvenc will choke on nothing because of that, even if you are only using small % of it - it won't let you use any more than that.
By changing a few numbers and technically hacking the driver, you can just unlock the nvenc and have 20+ streams go trough your 1060 instead of paying 5000$ for a quadro that does it.
In this case, it's a fully moral thing to do because fuck nvidia.
1060 chokes after 1 nvenc stream without doing that, just won't do more.
That said, I use 1060 6gig on my main PC and older AMD card on another, no issues with either of them.
