Do you think you have weird music taste? I think that I have a little bit, but I listen what I want to and what I think it's good for me. No one can ever change my music taste, your opinion about your music taste?
if u look my spotify favorite. u have from classical music to jazz music to the darkest underground techno to the most fucked GPF tracks, everything is in there. so i kinda know my music taste is weird but for me its just the feel, if i feel something, i enjoy it and save it.

i think for a truly weird music taste, niche music is only one part. just black metal isn't that weird, to have a truly weird music taste you have to have black metal and 'barbie girl' on the same mixtape and vibe to both equally

Mostly alternative/indie rock. Though I'll go on prog rock kicks, which I'm currently in the middle of. That's where it's definitely weirder than the average person, but I also think it's more obscure than weird. Top artists this year were Nothing But Thieves, The Technicolors, and Porcupine Tree for reference.

If you want music that is made from wierd stuff check out lowercase. Or noise music. Personally I dislike it but it sure is weird.
Weirdest thing I actually listen to is probably powerviolence, breakcore, grindcore. Some people think aphex twin is “weird” or Venetian snares is weird. After a while it just becomes normal and “normal” music can become kind of bland.

Electronic music isn't that mainstream in the UK as a whole from my perception but within electronic genres it's mainly about drum n bass, house and techno here. Probably like 10% of the electronic music I listen to would be considered normal within electronic music in the UK I would guess. It would be good to hear what other UK people think about this tho.
Youtube Music recap said 95% of my music was in, in their own different words, the "literally who?" category. If something is a hit song, I've never heard of it.

Windir has a lot more going on in their songs than just plain black metal, highly recommend journey to end which is like old style black metal with elements of atmospheric electro.
Aara - Aargesang Aare 2 is a really relaxing, yet chaotic song. Lemme know what you think.
