How tf does FaZe not get esports team of the year? Team that wins a major + 3 significant tournaments in the most competitive CSGO year gets beaten by some team that won some boring ass Valorant championship
Esports of the year goes to valorant as well? Only have 2 boring ass tournaments while CSGO had multiple hype tournaments. Even Rio major with dead crowd better than all valorant tournaments combined

Antwerp major was the best esports event in many years, LOL Worlds had terrible timing, and low views if I'm not mistaken, it did not deserve the win. I have no idea how Chovy didn't win for best athlete. As for Valorant, I've not seen anything at all of it, so I can't judge what it's like.
But The Game Awards has always seemed to have a pro-RIOT Games bias for some reason, maybe it's related to all those RIOT people who co-organise TGA.
