There's like no excitement this year for the top 20. The three top performers this year are all within 0.01 rating of each other, and have had all won ONE big event. C9 had IEM dallas. Zywoo had EPL. S1mple had Blast Spring Final. IEM Dallas would be perhaps counted a bit lower than EPL and Blast, but he also has 0.01 higher rating. The top 3 are basically gonna be like flipping a coin a few times. If any of their teams manage to win Blast World Final, then they will be #1.
#1-3: s1mple, Zywoo, sh1ro, any order basically
#4: most likely BlameF, considering his actual stats throughout the year
#5: Ax1le, better big events rating than NiKo, and one event win
#6: NiKo
#7: stavn, cracked performances, won blast
#8-10: broky, ropz, Twistzz, in that order (I'm a broky hater, but he popped off sometimes)
#11:probably KSCERATO, had good placements in major and other events
#12:m0nesy, no event wins, good rating, but had pretty inconsistent performances
#13: rain, great event wins, decent rating
#14: elec, had to switch to IGLing which dropped his impact
#15: Hobbit, always love my boy
#16: YEKINDAR, cracked entry fragger
#17: b1t, really fell off after his first year, maybe got too overconfident after 2021

#19: frozen, cracked, only good player on MOUZ, but barely got anywhere

He is and if you would understand how the rankings work you'd know that.
ZywOo missed all elite event playoffs (Cologne, Katowice, both majors), didn't get any EVP at both majors while s1mple was a MVP candidate at Antwerp with b1t and also got an EVP at Rio.
He has better impact, better stats against the best teams in the world, better KPR. He has better LAN stats, better elite event stats, better big event stats.
He has way more playoff maps, made the Antwerp major final, Cologne final, Katowice semi-final, Rio quarter-final.
As Striker hinted on the hltv confirmed podcast: ZywOo would have to win the Rio major MVP to challenge s1mple this year which obviously didn't happen.

thats fair tbh, I was unsure between BlameF and Ax1le, but I did want to consider that blameF basically never dropped off, while Ax1le did have some spotty performances
blame also had jack shit in terms of team support, while Ax1le at the very least had sh1ro

honestly I liked the Astralis gameplay better than the current FaZe roster
This FaZe team feels like it operates on individual power rather than teamplay, and I found the Astralis teamplay really fascinating to watch. Like I know karrigan is good at making his stars work together, but that Astralis was just something else
Dallas: crowd LAN, some partner teams, good format
BLAST: crowd LAN, mostly partner teams, good format
EPL: 5 week studio event with no crowd intended to take up as much calendar time as possible, bad format

Yes. Has a way better MVP, arguably the best MVP this year, has better impact, better stats against the best teams in the world (against the top 5 teams), better KPR, better ADR, way better LAN stats, way way better big event stats etc.

actually. i didn't even realize you we're an npc who just looks at stats. sounds like you don't realize that even tho ex.
(example) s1mple could be 35-17 at 15-14 (round 30), he can still make a mistake that cost them a overtime loss. and if i need to repeat myself, s1mple is ALL at fault for losing. that's how it works, even tho s1mple wins them every round up until the last one. (example)
