What a final this will be! I'm glad we get a final between two of the most hyped up teams instead of something like France vs Croatia where there's a clear favorite in the mix

Not like Morocco eliminated Portugal and Spain and were 1st in their group. So far the strongest team Argentina has faced was Netherlands who which they went to penalties.. Croatia had 0 defense and as we saw. France having a mid if not bad game, didn't struggle to kick out Morocco who has had really good games by playing really fast.

I think Argentina showed better football and more will to win. They'll also play with the crowd, so for me they are the favorites by a small margin.
France has a lot of inidividual names though, which helps a lot to raise their level in the biggest matches.

France is winning. Argentina is barely in the top 10 best teams this tournament. The team just doesnt work together and the only glue they have is the worlds best player xd. Argentina is exactly like belgium that rely on the midfield to perform. - Only difference is that belgium didnt qualify
Argentina had one of the easiest groups and I will argue that their best ever game was the game they lost against Saudi-Arabia. The argument that "Argentina" hasnt met real opposition isnt true tho, because they have met both Netherlands and Croatia, but one could argue that both of em had off-days playing against argentina. Netherlands didnt start playing before the 80 minute mark, and Croatia had full control until that controversial penalty.
France however, is one of the only teams that doesnt really have off days (except for tunisia match). I think that unless France completely dissapear it should be a free 3-1 win for Mbappe.

Sorry, but Argentina is completely opposite-they work together perfectly. Yes, they rely huge on Messi, but they work together, the passion, the game, the passes.
Also that penalty against Croatia is "controversial" only to those who listen to media. It was a CLEAR penalty without even thinking. Even their goalkeeper agreed and referee did not even had to think. Also the announcers and every player on field knew it INSTANTLY. Naturally some Croatia players did not agree with it, but thats all

Argentina got better as it progressed, After the first goal against croatia, that was the first time Argentina truly worked as a team in near-absolute synergy and fluidity, i think in this aspect, England was still the best in the entire wc, but that confident Argentina was a good 2nd, in this regard, Argentina is considerably superior to France (but France are really good in this too, they're not like Brasil), the raw skill gap however, is still heavily on France's favor, so i dont know if it all balances out in the end, i hope it does, i want Argentina to win, but the morons in these comments saying Argentina has 0 chance probably watch football once every 4 years...

Yes, mate i understand. I dont know how people can downplay Argentina, they literally did not lose a game since 2019 and were shocked by Saudi Arabs, fair play.
But ever since that 1st game, they look good, they work together and they are passionate.
So i dont understand people that say that Argentina has 0 chance, they literally almost broke the no-lose record + they are playing really well, i honsetly believe they are better than France as a TEAM. Will see how Argentina does on defence against such a good offensive team tho
Also you saying those teams had "off days" is just not right. If you saw how Argentina were pressing the oposing teams, it was all a plan and teams did not have an easy time against Argentina to start any real offense, you are clearly hating for no reason and i dont understand why
also saying "Croatia had a full control" is 50/50, they did not do anything with that ball control, because they could not. Yes, they had the ball, but no real threat to Argentina
Sorry, i dont want to argue, but why you saying that France had an "off day" against Tunisia. It was just that Tunisia were playing actually very great football, give them the respect they deserve. France are not a perfect team, Tunisia was a real good opponent and so is Argentina, i expect a great great game, but honestly believe Argentina will have a good game plan against then, just like against Croatia. Press hard, dont allow mbapee to drive and let messi do the magic :D

Mate you have commented like 4 times. Are you okay? Did I hit a nerve? Im not hating Argentina for no reason, Im just saying that they arent as good as some think they are. I have actually watched the games before commenting this, and ever since that saudi-arabia game I have yet to see a better performence. That assist from messi last game was p**n-material tho fr.

idk which wc u are watching but they are atleast a top 5 team this wc (only france, england and brasil i would rate above them)
imo the loss against saudiarabia was needed to make changes and ever since enzo and alvarez made the starting 11 they've been playing much better
I still think france is the favorite but the argentinians will put on a fight for messi so it might be a very close one and if messi has a magic moment he can decide the game on his own like he always does

yea i get ur point they might be a bit overrated/overhyped I think thats because of messis performances so far...
they rely very heavily on messi if he doesnt show up idk if they are able to create enough chances/score goals
But for me the diffrencemaker in the end could be their mentality i feel like they want it more then every other country and they will eat dirt on sunday for messi and argentina to win that worldcup
