“Winning” has nothing to do with individual awards, all T1 teams play against other T1 teams. As long as the players are playing vs T1, all stats count. Don’t see why the best rated player should be penalized for not winning events, even though the teams that he’s playing against are FaZe, Vitality, G2, Liquid, etc.

How can you say that when only competition that ZywOo has is basically S1mple??
S1mple had to go against prime legends back in the days, if ZywOo played back in the days he could have been destroyed by everyone.

What? If anything it's the opposite. He's been so long in the scene and is still in at the top. We've never seen in the history of this game stay in the top 5 for 5 years straight, let alone in the top 2 and he just did that.
Longevity is a lot more important than short peaks and it's another thing that sets him apart from guys like Coldzera, or Olof.

That's ofc one way to look at it. My way of looking at it is that s1mple has played in tier 1 for 3 years more than zywoo, and yet s1mple is only ahead of zywoo with one #1 ranking (after this year)
So in the time that they've played respectively, zywoo has statistically ranked higher on avg
And looking at how navi is playin right now, it looks like vitality will have a better start of the year in 2023 compared to navi, possibly giving zywoo the advantage that he didnt have the two years where he placed #2
