faze real fix?
 |
Europe monerap
I would say -karrigan because of zero aim and he is always bottom fragging. the problem is they need to find a good IGL. what would u do? -karrigan? -rain?

Do you expect Karrigan to be top fragging with the players he has in his team? Kinda bad point to start your thread.

of course not, but I think he needs to get better.
2022-12-17 20:07
Not top fragging. At least getting close to even. 24-42 through both maps is a horrible score.

Yes, but B site was THE issue in this CT side + calling Other than that it was broky throwing last few rounds. But he did a lot on T side too.

Yes I read it, but the issue that always costs faze the match is Karrigan. They need all other 4 to make no mistakes to make up for him, and that’s not possible.

-broky or switch him to rifle this team is great but it lacks a reliable great awper who gets consistent 1.20+ ratings and not miss easy shots. yes he has 2 mvps, but thats nothing special in a stacked team like that with the strongest weapon by far.

Calling was horrible, that was the issue ( Other than broky whiffing last 3 rounds too ) But you can't lose a 11-4 lead. Broky had 4 rounds with the awp, what about the rest

broky is a below average rifler, keep him awp or sell
2022-12-17 23:06
They lost because of Karrigan’s fragging. It’s easy to see. Simps will say “but he’s IGL he’s not supposed to frag”.

Say what you will about Karrigan's fragging ability but FaZe was an absolute clusterfuck without him.
2022-12-17 21:42
literally just be 10% luckier or call a different gamble one round, no need to break up the best roster that ever touched the game.

Arguable, but they were elevated above and beyond by strats and Utility in a way that Faze aren’t, making it harder to judge imo

faze real fix? Nothing, give it time and don't be a 7yo with a 2 second attention span
2022-12-17 20:08

You say "give it time" as if Faze is a new team. They reached their peak, reached their goals and egos took over. They let the gas off the pedal. Not as hungry as they were before thus they play worse and possibly will never reach that peak again with this 5 man.
2022-12-17 21:38

And what? If Astralis peaked in 2017 persay and after not winning Boston they make roster moves? Just because you peaked doesn't mean you don't have potential to still rise up to a similar standard. You're impatiant and have a low attention span, accept it.

"Potential". Everything has potential if you put it that way. Every team has "potential". I'm not saying it's guaranteed they wont crawl back but it is likely. Karrigan getting old, possiblt retiring soon. Rain is not that young anymore either.

no, they won 4 or 5 events this year obviously no need to change

Would be a shame if they started replacing people now that they finally have a lineu-up that has worked really well. I think if they stick to what have been working they will contend for many titles 2023

No fixes needed unless they significantly fall off at the start of the new season. And the first change would be rain, not karrigan. But I don't think we even need to go that far yet.

Today ropz was totally missing. He’s been a big part of their success their tournament. Karrigan mainly sets up his team, like HooXi, but yeah 0.66 rating over two maps isn’t doing anyone favors. I don’t think there is much to change. I do think -rain +BOROS could be an option, a hyper aggressive rifler to counter ropz’s passiveness is what they’re missing. They need someone that can deliver impact when needed on T sides, and to play a bit looser. Karrigan has this team in a chokehold right now, he needs to loosen his grip and let his players play.

2022-12-17 23:16
I would be surprised if they made any changes in the near future. This team is obviously capable of winning consistently but haven’t been able to put it all together the second half of the year. I could be wrong though. But k0nfig being available and fits the bill for the style they could use, who knows

Highly likely since FaZe aren’t big on developing talent. Not the worst choice, but I feel he’s still too inconsistent. BOROS is basically the next YEKINDAR statistically, it’s only a matter of time before a T1 teams shows interest.

who are you bringing in? a player who will consistently frag more than Rain or Broky will not be cheap nor easy to get.
2022-12-18 02:53
Why would they need changes, they are still one of the best teams right now and can easily challenge any of the best teams right now. G2 simply were able to figure out their weakness on their ct side and exploit it to win against them on a make they went 19-17 against. Changing up the roster would make no sense and would just add instability (look at g2 if you want to see what instability does)
2022-12-18 03:11
i dont think they need fixing yet, they arent an era defining team atm but they are still elite. i still think that karrigan contributes more overall then he takes away with poor fragging. They would be worse off with a random inexperienced or mediocre igl
2022-12-18 03:15
HLTV logic - If not number 1 and winning every tournament possible = disband or kick a certain player
2022-12-18 03:17
Any -karrigan thread is an automatic 0/8 karrigan is the most important player in the team
2022-12-18 03:19
not 5/5 players on your team need to be fragging good in the team, faze is already known for having multiple star players who all get kills which isnt in other teams
2022-12-18 03:26
what if I told you that losing doesn't mean changes are needed?
