EG make kato play ins

With the top 4 in Cashcup guaranteed they will be in the Katowice playins. This is huge for EG and their fans as they are one step closer to being back to the big stage

Pretty much the confirmed team list before the HLTV article comes out for Kato after paiN secured top 2 and EG made top 4 in the NA cash cup Completed list for Katowice 2023: Outsiders (Rio Major) Faze (Cologne 2022) Vitality (EPL S16) Heroic (#1 World ranking invite) Liquid (#2 World ranking invite) NAVI (#3 World ranking invite) Mouz (#4 World ranking invite) Cloud9 (#5 World ranking invite) Play-In: Nip (#1 EU ranking invite) G2 (#2 EU ranking invite) Spirit (#3 EU ranking invite) Furia (#1 NA ranking invite) Complexity (#2 NA ranking invite) ENCE (#6 World ranking invite) BIG (#7 World ranking invite) OG (#8 World ranking invite) Sprout (#9 World ranking invite) paiN Gaming (#10 World ranking invite) EG (#11 World ranking invite) Mibr (#1 SA ranking invite) Grayhound (#1 OCE ranking invite) IHC (#1 ASIA ranking invite) Fnatic (Qualified via Elisa Masters Espoo) Permitta esports (Qualified via Polish ESL event) Apparently, Katowice 2023 invites are prioritised like this: Main event invites: **Big event winners** (Rio Major, Cologne, EPL) —-> **Top 1-5 World Rankings** —-> **Top 8 from Play-In**. Then for the Play-In invites: **Regional Rankings** —-> **Top 6-11 World Rankings** —-> **Direct Qualifier events**. (I’m 99% sure that these are the correct teams but not totally sure on the seeding between the top ranked play-in teams. Current seeding is taken from the current/yesterday’s ESL rankings (except paiN and EG), so there could be seeding changes between the likes of Heroic, Liquid, Cloud9, G2 and more.)

Can someone please make a thread with this, I wanted to but I’m too inactive unfortunately, I just wanna see what the HLTV community says about it before the official article comes out for the team list.
