s1mple is finished. His final achievements: 1 Major, 3x Top 1, 2x Top 2.
ZywOo is 22 y.o: 2x Top1, 2x Top 2. s1mple isn't on his way anymore, so, ZywOo will farm way more than just 3x, he will aim for 5x at least, at very least. And for sure he will win his major, not once.

i feel like he will fumble the first half of the year again and s1mple will take his 4th top 1 after NaVi signs an IGL. Also s1mple was top 2 player in 2016 and top 3 player in 2017

coldzera won the major at a time where his team was playing insane & it was generally a time of low competition from other pro teams
he was the best performer at SK yes, but he didnt need to carry them in the way zywoo has to if he wants to win anything
overall major wins are team achievements, zywoo is doing his part but the rest of his team sadly isnt

In 2019? His team WAS doing their job. ALEX literally said in an interview that the team plays for zywoo. The role of the other players is pretty much 1 of them pops off and they play around zywoo. That was their job assigned to them. He was surrounded by old-heads who had been there and done that. A tonne of experience playing CSGO at the top level. Coldzera did it back to back though and the follow up year (although not part of his rookie year) validates that it wasn't just because of a "time of low competition".
Yes zywoo carries more in general but he didn't do shit for Vitality at the majors considering how many resources he took up for that team.
It's also laughable that you say that there is an asterisk when 2019 was the time of blastralis and Astralis was nowhere near their 2018 prime. They fell off after Katowice. They were still a top team but not as untouchable. Teams like EG, and Liquid superceded them and Astralis forfeited playing some of the big events ZywOo played at.
Not to mention in 2019, s1mple swapped to rifling that year instead of AWPing because he thought guardian would do good. ZywOo's year has a bunch of asterisks as well.

It was their job. If their role was to also frag out hard, they wouldn't dedicate such a wide pool of resources to one player. Role for role, zywoo had more help than you give him credit for and the support cast of his team in 2019 is heavily underrated. People act like he was s1mple in 2018 playing with zews, edward and semi-washed flamie. The skill floor on zywoo's team has always been way higher than what everyone thinks.
ZywOo has to carry more, yes but on the biggest stages(majors) it feels like he completely disappears:

The avangar one is especially egregious when you realise he should have had a free path to the finals due to what teams were in his brackets but he completely disappears vs a team with 0 experience at this level. He should have farmed.
If it was coldzera 2016, I guarantee you that these would have all been converted to wins by him. Especially the Avangar match. Cold gets better when the stakes are higher.

He was still deemed the best player of his respective rookie years, it's an illogical argument.
Coldzera had prime-FalleN and Fer in 2017 to aid, though.
ZywOo solo-carried to net two Top 1's.
The only difference is Major gold but that's an unfair comparison because obviously LG/SK were a far better team than Vitality were.
If we're going off the individualism, we should only count the individual achievements, so the MVP's and the Top 1 placings, which ZywOo netted 5 in his first year and 6 in his second; Coldzera netted 3 and then 5, respectively: liquipedia.net/counterstrike/HLTV/MVP_Aw..
