I don't know why people want to live in New York it is expensive as f*uck full of weird and homeless people it's even worst than OHIO in my opinion... New York is good for a weekend if you are a tourist but not to live..

I mean that's what cities are for, to keep the people we don't want ruining the country side in and to make sure the thugs target each other instead of other people that just want to live their life. I saw recently that self defence shootings are up in America by 70% and I can only assume it's a good thing.

That’s basically nowhere but Tokyo and even then you’re living in a tiny ass apartment All the most desirable cities with the best jobs and opportunities are expensive. USA, Singapore, Switzerland, UK, etc. Even Tel Aviv for Israel. No exceptions.

I would kill myself if I lived there but here are a lot of job opportunities for the finance sector there, a lot of culture so jobs for artists, nightlife and amenities in general.

When I first moved to NY I would've agreed with you. But after about three weeks it clicks and you see why everyone romanticizes the city. I am glad I don't live there anymore but am super grateful I got to live in NYC in my late 20s.
