just search for brazilians restaurants near to you, I'm sure it will have some. Here in Miami I went once to something called "camila restaurant" something like that and tried some things from the menu. btw their soda called Guarana is fucking delicious.

Feijoada (beans and a lot of meat, bacon, parts of pork, etc)
Pão de queijo (cheese bread, search on google)
Strogonoff (meat with milk cream, good shit with shoestring fries, easiest one to diy)
Edit: strogonoff is russian LOL

Churrasco with rice and cassava

Beef Stroganoff is a Russian dish, not Brazilian. If you want Brazilian dishes, I would recommend: feijoada, leitão a pururuca, vaca atolada, carne de sol, costela no fogo de chão.

Feijoada is the most straight-up that you can go. People told me that it looks nasty, but it's not a soup, you're not supposed to eat it by itself, you should eat it with rice.

Just bear in mind these more "traditional" dishes are not easy to make on first try, and probably not all ingredients will be easy to find at the US, but here are some:
Baião de dois
Feijoada
Vaca atolada
Feijão tropeiro (my favourite)
Churrasco (its different from american barbecue)
Moqueca capixaba
Acarajé
Strogonoff (its different from russian strogonoff)
And also day-to-day food, (rice, beans and beef, vegetables as side) is easier and you can play with variations like arroz à grega (rice with other stuff), black beans instead of pinto beans, pork meat instead of cattle meat, etc

Baião de dois, empadão and brazilian mayonnaise/brazilian potato salad. Not brazilian I guess, but risolis, esfiha and Bauru are just too good

Being honest, the secret to brazilian food is taking foods from other places and adapting it to our own style.
For example we have types of sushis that were created here, a japanese may not like it, but they are delicious.
