where are u from? i went to buenos aires in september 2022 and yes, i agree with you (especially in security and open-mind people), but i cannot speak about the whole country. and some places in brazil are very good too with very good people... one of the problems of brazilians is to think that everywhere is better than here

i´ve never been out of Buenos Aires for long periods of times but the south of the country is really really nice, the people there is just so nice and it´s much more safe than here. And as my friends told me the north has a lot of nice cities, mostly those that are mainly guaranis. If u haven´t visited those places i highly encourage u to do it if u can afford it

for the BA size, i think its pretty safe dude.. my wife and I walk the streets at 11pm from delgado to palermo and was so nice and peaceful.. i really liked argentina (i went to Tigre too) and i will recommend to anyone, but the guy from this thread act like brasil is shit and thats so idiot, brasil have amazing places and people, safety is a problem in some cities but not in the whole country

yeah but that was the beauty part, i live on the west side, and yeahhhhhh here u don´t do that, I mean, the possibility of something happening is still low, even lower if u are in a group, but here u are never enough careful. Instead in the south of the country u see people leaving their houses open, even their cars, with no worries that someone might rob them, and not even talking about violent crimes, those things just do not happen in those places

Being gay elsewhere is probably gonna get you weird looks from people, let alone being trans or just a femboy. Also, you can't renounce to the Argentine citizenship, so if you become a citizen then you're a citizen forever. Some nations force you to renounce to other nationalities (like Austria), which makes it harder or outright impossible to get some citizenships if you have the Argentine one.
